We have measured the time distribution of the Tt*e~v and n~e + v modes from initial K°9s in a spark-chamber experiment performed at the Bevatron. From 1079 events between 0.2 and 7 K s° lifetime, we find Re^ =-0.069 ±0.036, ImX=+0.108!^f|. This result is consistent withX=0 (relative probability = 0.25), but more than 4 standard deviations from the existing world average, +0.14 -0.1 Si.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
