RESUMO: A qualidade dos frutos do morango é uma forma de garantir o melhor rendimento no processamento e industrialização, garantindo aceitação pelo mercado consumidor. Nesse contexto, a adubação do morangueiro é fator importante a ser considerado para melhorar a produtividade e propriedades físico-químicas do fruto. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o efeito de diferentes fontes de fósforo sobre as características físico-químicas de frutos do morangueiro. O experimento foi realizado na área experimental da Unidade Acadêmica de Garanhuns da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco Garanhuns/PE. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos ao acaso, com quatro tratamentos e três repetições, totalizando 12 parcelas. As parcelas constituídas de duas linhas, com quatro plantas cada linha, sendo avaliadas as quatro plantas centrais. Os tratamentos utilizados foram três fontes de fósforo e uma testemunha T1 = sem adubação fosfatada; T2 = superfosfato simples, com 20 % de P2O5; T3 = fosfato reativo natural, com 29 % de P2O5 total e 9 % de P2O5 solúvel em ácido cítrico e, T4 = fosfato monoamônico, com 12 % de N e 52 % de P2O5). A dose usada foi a mesma para as três fontes, 450 kg ha -1 de P2O5, conforme recomendação para a cultura. Foram avaliadas as características físicas e químicas dos frutos: número de frutos por planta, massa média dos frutos, sólidos solúveis totais, acidez titulável e pH. As diferentes fontes de adubação fosfatada promoveram efeitos significativos sobre as caraterísticas físicas e químicas dos frutos de morangueiro, pois aumentou a massa dos frutos, teor de sólidos solúveis, açúcares
