RESUMO -Nanosistemas particulados com propriedades fluorescentes e magnéticas foram obtidos desenvolvendo materiais compósitos de polímeros em presença de extrato de fluoróforo natural e nanopartículas de magnetita. Os materiais obtidos foram caracterizados por diferentes técnicas, sendo confirmadas suas propriedades fluorescentes (absorção em 424 nm e emissão em 560 nm) e magnéticas (superparamagnetismo e magnetização de saturação de 76 emu.g -1 ). Tais sistemas demonstraram grande potencial para aplicações biotecnológicas como marcações de células tronco e teranósticos oncológicos. INTRODUÇÃOAs áreas de nanotecnologia e biotecnologia têm sido identificadas nos últimos anos como uma tendência mundial de avanço tecnológico. Estas áreas são classificadas como estratégicas principalmente no desenvolvimento de soluções inovadoras relacionadas à saúde humana. Neste contexto, uma tendência é o desenvolvimento de sistemas teranósticos, ou seja, que acumulam a funcionalidade de diagnóstico e tratamento, facilitando procedimentos médicos e melhorando a eficiência e seletividade de aplicações tradicionais. Neste contexto cresce a necessidade por nanossistemas que acumulam funcionalidades, como fluorescência e magnetismo em um único material. (Dabrowska et al., 2017) Estes nanosistemas híbridos apresentam potencialidade desde marcação de células tronco até diagnóstico e tratamento de tumores.O objetivo deste trabalho consiste, portanto, na obtenção de sistemas nanoparticulados composto por nanopartículas magnéticas, nanopartículas poliméricas e extrato de fluoróforo natural, visando a aplicações em marcação celular por fluorescência e ressonância magnética, além de terapia oncológica por hipertermia magnética. RESUMO -Emulsões são sistemas heterogêneos instáveis, que propicia a ocorrências de diversos fenômenos de desestabilização. O presente trabalho propôs um planejamento experimental para análise de estabilidade de emulsões água em óleo (A/O), usando diesel, heptano ou metacrilato de metila na fase oleosa através de uma análise baseada na varredura da turbidez. Os resultados indicaram, quando olhados em conjunto, que o aumento do teor de surfactante, a redução de quantidade de fase dispersa e da velocidade do cisalhamento contribuem positivamente com a estabilidade das emulsões A/O. Ademais, os aspectos mecânicos controlaram a estabilidade das dispersões em meio mais hidrofóbico e os aspectos químicos, em meio mais hidrofílico.
