Zusammenfassung An zwei Milchkühen wurde in einem langfristigen Stoffwechselversuch geprüft, wie eine langanhaltende geringe Na‐Zufuhr und eine anschließende NaCl‐Zulage sich auf den Stoffwechsel von Mg, Ca und P auswirkt. Der Einfluß des Na‐Gehaltes im Futter wurde untersucht auf: die Ausscheidungsverhältnisse des Mg, Ca und P; die Mg‐, Ca‐ und P‐Bilanzen; die Mg‐, Ca‐ und P‐Veränderungen im Blutserum. Die Ergebnisse lassen sich folgendermaßen zusammenfassen: Zu 1. Das Na‐arm ernährte Versuchstier Sb schränkte in der 12. Laktationswoche die Milchleistung stark ein. Mit dem Rückgang der Milchleistung mußten die Mg‐, Ca‐ und P‐Ausscheidungen mit der Milch abnehmen, denn die Konzentrationen dieser Elemente in der Milch änderten sich nicht. Mg wurde jetzt vermehrt über die Nieren ausgeschieden. Für das Ca war der Darm regulierend, die Ca‐Ausscheidung über die Niere blieb unverändert. P wurde in wechselnden Mengen über die Niere und über den Darm ausgeschieden. Nach der NaCl‐Zulage stieg die Mg‐Ausscheidung im Harn weiterhin an, die Ausscheidung im Kot nahm ab. Auch beim Ca wurde nach der NaCl‐Zulage eine vermehrte Ausscheidung im Harn beobachtet bei abnehmender Ausscheidung im Kot. Die erhöhten P‐Ausscheidungen im Harn wurden an den letzten 16 Versuchstagen nicht mehr gefunden. Beim Vergleichstier Sa waren die Ca‐ und P‐Ausscheidungen im Harn gering und änderten sich während der Versuchsdauer nicht. Mit abnehmender Milchleistung wurde die Mg‐Ausscheidung über die Niere größer. Zu 2. Der Verlauf der Ca‐ und P‐Bilanzen beider Tiere ‐ ein Vergleich war nur bis zum 34. Laktationstag möglich ‐ zeigte keinen Unterschied. Auffallend war die beim Versuchstier Sb im weiteren Versuchsablauf stark negative Ca‐Bilanz, die nach vorübergehend positivem Verlauf vom 84. bis 125. Laktationstag bis zum Versuchsende anhielt. Die Mg‐Bilanz beim Vergleichstier Sa war schon nach dem 6. Laktationstag ausgeglichen. Beim Versuchstier Sb dagegen erreichte die Mg‐Bilanz nur vom 105. bis zum 125. Laktationstag einen Ausgleich, während der ganzen übrigen Versuchsdauer verlief die Bilanz negativ. Zu 3. Zur Zeit der Geburt fielen die Ca‐ und P‐Werte im Serum bei beiden Tieren ab. Die Mg‐Konzentration blieb beim Versuchstier Sb unverändert, beim Vergleichstier Sa trat eine Erhöhung des Mg‐Wertes im Blutserum um 20 % gegenüber der Konzentration vor der Geburt ein. Die Gesamt‐P‐ und Gesamt‐Mg‐Konzentrationen im Blutserum des Versuchstieres Sb waren zu Versuchsende 30% hdher als zu Versuchsbeginn. Der Ca‐Gehalt im Serum änderte sich nicht.
Zusammenfassung In einem einjährigen Bilanzversuch mit zwei Milchkühen sollte geprüft werden, wie sich eine langandauernde geringe Natriumzufuhr auswirkt. Zu diesem Zweck erhielten die Kühe ein natriumarmes, in alien anderen Nährstoffen aber optimal zusammengesetztes Futter, welches bei einem Tier durch Zulage von NaCl ergänzt wurde. Die Natriumaufnahme betrug beim Natriummangeltier R durchschnittlich knapp 7 g/Tag, beim Vergleichstier U 23 g/Tag. Gravidität und Laktation des Vergleichstieres U verliefen normal. Das Natriummangeltier R konnte in der Gravidität durch Einschränkung der Na‐Konzentrationen in Kot und Harn und Einschränkung der Milchproduktion einen Verlust von Körper‐Natrium vermeiden. Mit der Geburt und in den ersten sechs Wochen der folgenden Laktation verlor das Tier jedoch mindestens ein Drittel des Körper‐Natriums. Zur Zeit der stärksten Na‐Verarmung wurden die Na‐Ausscheidungen in Kot und Harn so niedrig, daß nur 7% des aufgenommenen Futternatriums durch Kot und Harn verlorengingen. Außerdem wurden Störungen der Milchejektion und Abgabe großer Harnmengen, verbunden mit großer Wasseraufnahme, beobachtet, die Hämatokrit‐Werte im Blut stiegen an. Die Na‐Konzentration des Blutserums blieb nahezu konstant. In der 7. Laktationswoche folgte dann ein so starker Abfall der Milchleistung, daß die Na‐Bilanz positiv werden konnte. Das Natriummangeltier R zeigte während des Versuches anhaltende Lecksucht, Unruhe, Muskelzittern und maßige Freßlust.
Zusammenfassung Zu einer Grundration, die Polyäthylenglykol enthielt, erhielten vier Schafe täglich 300 mÄq NaCl, fünf Schafe 300 mÄq KCl. Der Inhalt des in acht Abschnitte unterteilten Magen‐Darm‐Kanals wurde auf Wasser, Mineralstoffe und PÄG untersucht. Außer bei Natrium und Kalium zeigten sich weder in der Mineralstoffkonzentration noch im Verhältnis der Mineralstoffe zu PÄG Unterschiede zwischen beiden Gruppen. Während im Speichelgemisch der Gehalt an Natrium und Kalium durch die Höhe der Zufuhr dieser Ionen beeinflußt wurde, zeigte sich ein derartiger Einfluß in der Galle nicht. Der Stoffaustausch an der Psalterwand wird diskutiert.
Zusammenfassung Die Versuche über den Einfluß geringer Natrium‐Versorgung auf den Stoffwechsel von Milchkühen wurden mit einem eineügen Zwillingspaar fortgesetzt. Das Versuchstier erhielt ein natriumarmes Futter, wobei die tägliche Natrium‐Aufnahme 3,2 bis 5,5 g betrug. Das Vergleichstier erhielt zum gleichen Futter eine NaCl‐Zulage von 0,4 % des lufttrockenen Futters, wobei die tägliche Natrium‐Aufnahme 17 bis 25 g betrug. Beim Vergleichstier war die Natrium‐Bilanz ausgeglichen bis schwach positiv. Das Versuchstier verlor in den ersten 7 Laktationswochen 190 g Körper‐Natrium. Danach fiel die Milchleistung stark ab, und die Natrium‐Bilanz wurde ausgeglichen. Die Natrium‐Konzentration der Milch war schwach, die des Blutserums kaum erniedrigt. Die Natrium‐Ausscheidungen in Kot und Harn waren sehr niedrig. Mit anhaltender Natrium‐Verarmung des Körpers waren Harnmengen und Tränkwasseraufnahme stark angestiegen. Die Ergebnisse des ersten Versuches wurden damit im wesentlichen bestätigt. Vom 210. Laktationstag ab wurde dem an Natrium verarmten Versuchstier eine NaCl‐Zulage zum Futter von 63 g/Tag gegeben. Danach stieg die Milchleistung sofort an. Die Natrium‐Ausscheidungen in Kot und Harn blieben zunächst niedrig, so daß das Tier größere Mengen Natrium retinieren konnte und innerhalb von zwei Wochen das Defizit an Körper‐Natrium ergänzen konnte. Die Natrium‐Ausscheidungen im Kot begannen am 10., die im Harn am 13. Tag nach Salzzulage stark anzusteigen, das Tier näherte sich nun schnell einer ausgeglichenen Natrium‐Bilanz.
Zusammenfassung In einem langfristigen Stoffwechselversuch mit einer Versuchskuh und einer Vergleichskuh, die in der 6. Laktationswoche nach einem Sturz ausfiel, wurde der Einfluß Natrium‐armer Fütterung auf das Plasma‐Volumen und auf den Chlorid‐Stoffwechsel untersucht. Das Versuchstier erhielt vom Ende der Gravidität bis zum 209. Laktationstag eine Na‐arme Grundration ohne Kochsalz. Vom 210. Laktationstag an wurden dem Futter täglich 63 g Kochsalz zugegeben. Folgende Ergebnisse wurden erzielt: Während der Na‐armen Fütterung sank das Plasma‐Volumen der Versuchskuh von 25 l auf 20 l. Nach der Salz‐Zulage stieg es wieder auf 24, 71. Das Volumen der Blutzellen stieg von 11,11 auf 13,51, nach der Salz‐Zulage fiel es wieder auf 11,21. Die Cl‐Konzcntration im Serum fiel von 100 mäq/l auf Werte unter 90 mäq/l, nach der Salz‐Zulage stieg sie auf 97 mäq/l. Die Cl‐Bilanz verlief ahnlich der Na‐Bilanz. In den ersten 50 Tagen der Laktation verlor das Tier etwa 280 g CI. Der Ausgleich in der Bilanz wurde durch stärkste Einschränkung der Cl‐Ausscheidung im Harn erreicht. Nach der Salz‐Zulage war die Cl‐Bilanz nicht in demselben Maße positiv wie die Na‐Bilanz, da die Cl‐Ausscheidung im Harn sofort nach der Salz‐Zulage stark anstieg. Das Körpergewicht fiel in der Na‐armen Fütterungsperiode innerhalb von zehn Wochen von 537 kg auf 463 kg. In weiteren 18 Wochen stieg es wieder auf 500 kg. Nach der Salz‐Zulage stieg das Gewicht bei unveränderter Grundfutteraufnahme in 14 Tagen auf 538 kg, gleichzeitig stieg die Milchmenge an. Die Ergebnisse stehen in Einklang mit zahlreichen Untersuchungsergebnissen an kleinen Labortieren, nach denen ein Natrium‐Verlust des Körpers im wesentlichen aus der extrazellulären Flüssigkeit gedeckt wird.
