Storage. -Mg3Ag is prepared as a hydrogen storage medium by reactive sintering of compressed pellets of MgH2 and Ag powders in a molar ratio of 3:1 at 400°C for 2 h under Ar atmosphere. The compound is able to absorb 2.0 wt.% H2 and exhibits reversible hydration/dehydration properties with enhanced cycling stability. It shows a capacity retention of 95% after 30 cycles. -(SI, T.
