Este artigo procura refletir o desemprego definido inicialmente como uma categoria social objetiva – que se materializa em dados estatísticos institucionais/oficiais – e subjetiva – de percepção da realidade, onde esse fenômeno não afeta os indivíduos de maneira homogênea no espaço econômico da experiência de trabalho. É constituído pelas relações sociais, sobretudo pelas relações de gênero. Buscou-se estatísticas de órgãos oficiais como o IBGE e Ministério do Trabalho que, baseados na PNAD Contínua e Caged, mostram a vulnerabilidade das mulheres como as mais afetadas entre o contingente de desempregados no Brasil, nos anos 2017/2018. Os resultados apresentam o maior índice do desemprego recaindo sobre as mais jovens e com baixa escolaridade.
RESUMOO artigo analisa o conceito de experiência social no trabalho de jovens profissionais, egressos de Universidades de Belém, norte do Brasil, na perspectiva de François Dubet, sociólogo francês da teoria contemporânea. A reflexão sobre este conceito focaliza a conduta dos jovens nas atividades que realizam e a sua capacidade crítica de pensar a realidade de trabalho nela inseridos. A metodologia abrangeu uma revisão bibliográfica em obras de Dubet e pesquisa qualitativa com entrevistas a quinze jovens entre 20 e 29 anos, que trabalham em Belém. A conclusão destacou o conceito de experiência social explicado por Dubet, tanto, diante da representação do emocional e da atividade cognitiva quanto, das lógicas da ação vividas pelos jovens, atores sociais que enfrentam tensões num mundo do trabalho modificado e em constantes transformações. Este artigo discute a desigualdade de gênero na ciência através de relatos de mulheres cientistas em diferentes áreas de atuação no Brasil, entrevistadas por órgãos de pesquisas, em 2020. As profissionais falaram como estão suas ocupações no mercado de trabalho e os principais obstáculos nesse momento de pandemia da Covid-19. Fundamentando-se na categoria da “divisão sexual do trabalho” e complementando com os dados levantados pelo movimento Parent in Science, concluiu-se que, mesmo com suas qualificações e experiências profissionais, as mulheres enfrentam questões decorrentes do predomínio de práticas patriarcais na sociedade brasileira, diante da difícil articulação entre o trabalho profissional e o trabalho doméstico no período de isolamento social.
