The study deals with the implementation of information and communication technologies in the educational environment of kindergartens within the emerging trend of joint education. It briefly analyzes the Framework Educational Program of pre-school education and its changes in the use of digital technologies. The study aims on the kindergarten teachers' view on the drawback and the positive benefits that ICT brings with them. It maps out and compares the digital equipment of individual kindergartens in the South Bohemia, Pilsen region and Prague, the level of the digital competences of the teachers of the kindergarten, including methodical facilities and opinion prejudices and attitudes towards ICT.Key words: ICT, kindergarten, teacher, joint education (inclusion).

The authors discuss the relationship between the ongoing transformation of technical education towards the knowledge society and the challenges that this transformation creates in association with the curriculum at a specific secondary vocational school. They present this development within the context of the specific secondary vocational school through a case study of language teaching. The case study is based on specific curricular documents and it clarifies basic concepts of the modernization of teaching process. In the same time shows innovations of principles of language teaching in the secondary sphere.
