El ambiente que nos rodea y, en particular, los sonidos, olores y colores, generan sensaciones y reacciones en los seres humanos; estos estímulos pueden repercutir de forma positiva o negativa en el comportamiento cerebral de las personas. La creatividad al ser un estado mental y emocional, puede depender teóricamente de todo estímulo externo y, en ella, influyen las habilidades creativas. De acuerdo con lo anterior y una vez indagado el propósito en sus antecedentes y referentes teóricos, la metodología de este estudio se aborda desde un enfoque cuantitativo, explicativo y cuasiexperimental. Por un lado, es cuantitativo dado que su interés es explicativo y da cuenta de la influencia del acorde cromático, como variable independiente para establecer su influencia en el desarrollo de habilidades creativas, definida como variable dependiente. Por otro lado, es cuasiexperimental, porque se centra, inicialmente, en los supuestos dados y en configurar un acorde cromático definido por colores cálidos que por su longitud y frecuencia de onda electromagnética comparten la característica de mayor influencia en la actividad cerebral de los humanos. Lo anterior se potencia por la intermediación de herramientas que facilitan la virtualización, que además inciden en su comportamiento, a razón de la estimulación visual hacia la acción, la divergencia y la acción creativa. Esto se presenta seguido por la distribución homogénea de la muestra poblacional en los grupos experimental y control. Esta investigación comprobó que con la mediación de la virtualidad apalancada en el equipo para simular entornos oculus rift, las habilidades creativas pueden ser influidas positivamente de tal modo que los indicadores con que la creatividad es medida (Fluidez, Flexibilidad, Originalidad, Elaboración y Recursividad) tienen mejor desempeño de acuerdo con el Test de Creatividad fundado en Torrance (1966) & Guilford (1980). Actualmente se está adelantando una propuesta para la población de estudiantes matriculados en la línea en Tecnologías de la Comunicación e Información (TCI´S) del programa TecnoAcademia Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) Tolima y estudiantes de la Escuela de Ingenierías y Ciencias Básicas de la Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (UNAD), donde se busca establecer influencias específicas por los colores en cada una de las habilidades de la creatividad. De esta forma y de ser comprobada la hipótesis, se entregará a la comunidad una herramienta personalizada a través de la cual podrá desarrollar la habilidad que mayor atención necesite de acuerdo con las necesidades individuales en su momento creativo.
