This work is devoted to the topical issue of managing complex process equipment, using the example of a coal cleaning combine used in the mining industry of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. The article presents an approach to the implementation of an automated system of proactive control of the speed of movement of the coal cleaning combine (CC) using two fuzzy controls. The proposed control system analyzes the current value of the engine current driving the cutting unit and predicts the readings of the gas pollution sensors in the mine. Accounting for gas readings is vital to ensure the safe operation of the tunneling machine and other equipment. Excess gas pollution can lead to explosions, casualties and damage to process equipment. Based on the analysis of these values, the developed system generates a control action on the drive motor regulator, which drives the combine. The drive motor controller is made on the basis of a proportional-integral controller. Thus, the system is a hybrid structure combining classic regulators and fuzzy regulators that generate a control signal. The presented approach allows for adaptive, proactive management, as well as improving the safety of the coal mining process and minimizing the human factor in the implementation of management. The effectiveness of the approach is demonstrated using the developed simulation model of a coal cleaning combine in the Simulink application of the MatLab software package. Analysis of the results obtained in the work allows us to conclude that it is expedient to apply this approach to other technological objects used in the mining industry of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and other countries
This work is devoted to the urgent issue of the analysis of arc surges in electric networks of the Arctic region of the Russian Federation, using the electric power system of the Kola Peninsula as an example. The article presents an approach to the development of a computational model of a power system in the Matlab software environment, the Simulink simulation application. When compiling the calculation model, the following points were taken into account: the model was in a three-phase formulation; the inductances of overhead power lines were taken into account; non-linear arc resistance was taken into account; grounding resistance was taken into account; the magnetic coupling between the phases and interphase capacitances were taken into account. Based on the results of the model, graphs of transients in the system were obtained for various operating modes. The correctness of the calculation model was checked on the following points: on the voltage, it is necessary that the phase voltages on the buses of the substation ΦC-24 correspond to the phase voltages at all points of the model and be shifted relative to each other by an angle of 120 °; current, current at all points of the system, the current must be symmetrical; according to the current of a single-phase short circuit, it is necessary that the value of the short circuit current obtained using the calculation model corresponds to the current value obtained in the analytical calculations. In the study of arc surges, more than 60 calculations were performed. The performed calculations showed the dependence of the overvoltage ratio on the fault location and the uneven distribution of overvoltages in the considered sections. An analysis of the results obtained in the work allows us to conclude that it is advisable to apply this approach to other electric power systems of the regions of the Russian Federation and other countries.
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the lives and mental health of people around the world, and it has become clinically essential to define risk factors in order to provide adequate prevention and support. The aim of the study was to describe coping strategies in Polish women related to the COVID-19 pandemic using the balance model, one of the most important concepts of positive psychotherapy (PPT after Peseschkian since 1977). The analysis included 735 women at the mean age of 39.61 years. The survey was conducted using the questionnaire form on the website. Based on Beck’s depression test, depressive disorders were disclosed in 32.65%, and both the presence and severity of depressive syndromes were inversely correlated with age. Using a cluster analysis, three adaptation strategies could be identified, related to the different prevalence of depressive disorders. Relationships proved the most crucial area of the balance model, responsible for the effectiveness of the coping strategy. Based on the obtained results, it has to be concluded that preventive measures should primarily concern women aged <25 years old and focus on strengthening the relationships area.
