This paper proposes an algorithm for the dynamic reconfiguration of Smart Distribution Systems with the objective of minimizing the active energy losses along the day, considering different load levels. In this proposal, a mono-objective algorithm based on the General Variable Neighborhood Search is implemented. An efficient scheme for coding and decoding the decision variables is adopted. Results of the application of the proposed method are presented in a real system, adapted to a smart grid. The results were satisfactory, considering the context of short-time operation planning.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
