In the approach to learning, teachers must be able to create an active, creative, effective, and funlearing. One of the learning approaches that can be used to create this active, creative, effectiveand fun learning in a group is cooperative learning. Jigsaw was particularly selected from varioustypes of cooperative learning. It was because it is used by researchers in science education, andless popular in social science education. Jigsaw arouse students' attitudes to learning, including inthe History subject. Jigsaw that is one ofthe types of cooperative learning models that encouragesstudents to be active and help each others in mastering the subject matter to achieve maximumperformance. The aim of the study was to see the different models of cooperative learning onstudents' critical thinking skills in the History subject. The method used was by using the teststatistics with analysis using Excel for Windows. To determine whether there is any differences,tests of paired data (Student's t-test) were comducted. If there are no significant differencesbetween the dependent variable for the pre-test, it will be used followed by ANOVA in the posttest. The results showed that there is a difference between the type of cooperative learning modeljigsaw with traditional learning in the study on the critical thinking skills of students in the Historysubject.
This study was aimed at finding if integrity affects the performance of High School Teachers in Pekanbaru. So the hypothesis of this study is that if the integrity has an influence on the performance of high school teachers in Pekanbaru. The method used in this study was a survey with correlational techniques. This technique was carried out to analyze the influence of two independent variables X with dependent variables Y. The population in this study were all high school teachers (178 teachers) and the samples were teachers who had received teacher certification at the SMAN Kecamatan 121 Tenayan Raya. Data were analysed using descriptive analysis techniques and inferential analysis to test hypotheses. The requirements for analyzing the data are: normality test, homogeneity test, and linearity test. The results showed that integrity had a significant effect with a positive direction on teacher performance in the Tenayan Raya High School in Pekanbaru. This is indicated by the regression coefficient of integrity against teacher performance of 0.083. The point is that if the integrity variable rises by one unit, an increase in teacher performance is 0.083. Furthermore, the effect of the variable integrity on teacher performance resulted in a value of 0.69%. This means that integrity contributes significantly to teacher performance by 0.69%. This contribution is in the very low category. Therefore, it can be concluded that integrity has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ performance in Tenayan Raya High School.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendididkan SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Rumbio Jaya Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau dengan menganalisis peran kepala sekolah sebagai edukator, manajer, administrastor, supervisor, leader, inovator maupun motivator. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan oktober 2017 – Febuari 2018 di SMA Negeri 01 dan 02 Kecamatan Rumbio Jaya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif karena subjek yang diteliti adalah orang dengan segala aktivitasnya dan alam sekitarnya. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Validasi data menggunakan metode trianggulasi. Data dianalisis dengan analisis kualitatif dari Miles dan Huberman, yakni melalui 3 langkah kegiatan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Rumbio Jaya Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau telah melaksanakan tugasnya sebagai edukator, manajer, administrastor, supervisor, leader, inovator maupun motivator. Peran kepala sekolah SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Rumbio Jaya Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau tersebut secara keseluruhan sangat mewarnai pelaksanaan kegiatan pendidikan dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Peran kepala sekolah sebagai leader dan inivator merupakan pembeda pencapaian dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan pada SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Rumbio Jaya Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau.
This service activity aims to improve understanding and practice writing skills and submit scientific articles to national journals for high school teachers and equivalent in Tanah Putih sub-district, Rokan Hilir Regency. This activity was carried out using workshop method and continued with online guidance. In the field workshop, material was presented on the definition of scientific articles and journals, why teachers are required to have the ability to research and write articles, write scientific articles and training in submitting scientific articles to online journals. The results of the training showed an increase in the ability of participants to understand the procedures for writing scientific articles and the procedure for submitting articles to national journals. The core achievement can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants who were very good during the training and there were articles from participants who had succeeded in being submitted to reputable National Journals.
