Research areas are the National Park of Karatepe-Aslantaş, Harun Reşit Castle, Haruniye Springs, and Şarlak Falls located in Osmaniye, Turkey. This study was conducted between 2015 and 2016. As a result of this study, 164 taxa belonging to 59 families, 139 genera, 135 species, 23 subspecies, and 6 varieties were determined. Fifteen taxa identified in the study area were endemic and the rate of endemism was 9.1%. The distribution of taxa in phytogeographic regions in the research area is as follows: Mediterranean (including the Eastern Mediterranean) 63 taxa (38.4%), Euro-Siberian 10 taxa (6.1%), Irano-Turanian 7 taxa (4.3%), 39 widespread taxa (23.8%) and 45 unknown taxa (27.4%). Fabaceae (26), Asteraceae (13), Lamiaceae (13), Brassicaceae (7), and Rosaceae ( 7) are the largest families in terms of the number of taxa in the research area. Securigera DC. (3), Centaurea L. (3), Quercus L. (3), and Salvia L. (3) are the largest genera in terms of the number of taxa in the research area.
Hatay (Türkiye) ilinin bazı doğal ve kültürel sit alanları florası üzerine bir çalışma
A study on the flora of some natural and cultural sites of Hatay province (Turkey)
Bu çalışmada Mersin ili sınırları içerisinde bulunan, doğal ve kültürel sit özelliği taşıyan Aphrodisias Sit Alanı ve Tisan Mevkii, Taşucu Kalesi ve Boğsak Adası, Eğribük Koyu ve Dana Adası, Gilindere Mağarası, Aydıncık Adaları ve Beşparmak Adaları’nın florası üzerine bir envanter çalışması yapmak ve Mersin ilinin floristik ve biyolojik çeşitlilik araştırmalarına katkı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır. Mersin ili sınırlarındaki adalarda daha önce doğrudan flora tespitine yönelik çalışma yapılmamıştır. Araştırma alanları olan Mersin ilinine ait dört farklı bölgede toplam 26 familya ve 57 cinse ait 66 farklı takson tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen taksonların fitocoğrafik bölgelere göre dağılımı şöyledir: Akdeniz (Doğu Akdeniz dahil) 37 takson (%56.07), Geniş yayılışlı 11 takson (%16.66) ve bilinmeyen 18 (%27.27) taksondur. Avrupa - Sibirya ve İran - Turan coğrafik bölge elementi bulunmamaktadır. Araştırma alanında toplam 1 endemik ve 1 nadir bitki taksonu tespit edilmiştir.
The study areas include Döngel Cave, Savruk Cave and Bağlama Lake in Kahramanmaraş (Turkey). This research was conducted between 2015 and 2016. As a result of the study, 86 taxa of 41 families, 77 genera, 63 species, 18 subspecies and 5 varieties were determined. 16 of the identified taxa are endemic and the rate of endemism is 18.6%. In the study area, the distribution of taxa to phytogeographical regions is as follows; Mediterranean (include East Mediterranean province) 20 taxa (23.2%), Irano-Turanian 9 taxa (10.5%), Euro-Siberian 6 taxa (6.9%), widespread 24 taxa (27.9%) and unknown 27 taxa (31.4%). The largest families in terms of the number of taxa in the study area are Asteraceae (13), Rosaceae (6), Fabaceae (5), and Liliaceae (5) respectively. The largest genera in terms of the number of taxa in the study area are Centaurea (4), Juniperus (3), Muscari (2), Quercus (2), Astragalus (2) and Arenaria (2) respectively.
This study was carried out between 2014-2016 and included 7 localities within the borders of Adana province. This research had been made for the purpose natural and cultural sites feature which Ağyatan, Tuzla and Yumurtalık Lagoons, Yer Köprü Natural Formation, Akyatan Lagoon, Şekerpınar and Tatarlı village to investigate the vegetation in Adana province in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (Turkey). In our research area, 220 taxa belong to 70 families and 180 genera were identified. In this study, a total of 220 taxa; 18 in Ağyatan Lagoon, 41 in Tuzla Lagoon, 83 in Yumurtalık Lagoon, 13 in Akyatan Lagoon, 55 in Yer Köprü Natural Formation, 57 in Şekerpınar and 48 in Tatarlı Village Ancient Period Ruins have been determined. 7 of these taxa are endemic and 7 are in critical species category.
