Introdução: Os fungos comestíveis possuem valor nutricional alto, antioxi-dantes e propriedades medicinais que beneficiam a saúde humana. De maneira geral, eles contêm baixo teor de gordura e de calorias, e alta concentração de vitaminas do complexo B, além de minerais como potássio, iodo, cálcio e fósforo. Objetivo: determinar a composição de espécies de fungos na APA Lago do Amapá, Rio Branco, Acre, e indicar aquelas com potencial alimentar. Metodologia: A partir de expedições mensais feitas de setembro de 2018 a julho de 2021, os espécimes coletados foram fotografados, acondicionados em maletas plásticas e transportados para o Laboratório de Botânica e Ecologia Vegetal, onde foram secados em uma estufa, armazenados em sacos de papel com naftalina e identificados. Resultados: Foram coletados 325 espécimes, distribuídos em 29 famílias, 64 gêneros e 138 espécies, sendo 16 espécies comestíveis. Entre as espécies comestíveis as mais abundantes foram, Auricularia delicata, Lentinus crinitus e Cookeina speciosa. Conclusão: Este trabalho fornece informações valiosas para projetos futuros en-volvendo o cultivo de espécies comestíveis para fins comerciais, o que pode contribuir para com o fortalecimento da geração de renda e da economia da comunidade local.
