This service activity carried out in the village Langkai slender Pahandut districts in community groups Perumahaan Borneo. The selection of this location because in general, the women in the village built is not working, so had plenty of time to become empowered and more rapidly in accepting technology. This activity aims to help mothers and young women to improve family health by reducing expenses in medicine and improve the utilization of the yard with a plant that functions as medicinal plants. Application activity is the introduction of several types of plants that serve as a remedy. In some women there who are already active in exploiting the yard, then the implementation of the activities is the enrichment kind of TOGA and function. The method used is planting demonstration counseling and mentoring. Activity results showed that women in the target group in two groups RT Borneo and Candra Buana group has formed a TOGA garden in her yard. Evaluation of this activity is a very good response, each group in two households has a garden TOGA, so the evaluation is the increased utilization of the yard seventy-five percent.

Kawasan Hutan dengan Tujuan Khusus (KHDTK) Mungku Baru merupakan kawasan hutan yang berada di wilayah kota Palangka Raya. KHDTK ini difungsikan sebagai kawasan yang memberi nilai ekonomi dan ekologi yang sangat tinggi untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat dari nilai ekonomi kawasan sebagai daerah penghasil ikan, damar, getah karet, dan hasil hutan bukan kayu lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan pengelolaan KHDTK Mungku Baru. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui tingkat motivasi masyarakat Mungku Baru terhadap kegiatan pengelolaan KHDTK Mungku Baru termasuk kategori rendah dengan skor rata-rata 18.56. Faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap motivasi masyarakat yaitu jumlah keluarga, pendidikan, pekerjaan dan penyuluhan.
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya melestarikan lingkungan dan sumber daya hutan, selain juga menciptakan peluang ekonomi alternatif bagi warga kelurahan Mungku Baru. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi observasi dan explore ecoprint. Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu terciptanya pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya sumberdaya alam hutan bagi kehidupan masyarakat sekitar dan bagaimana melestarikannya serta meningkatkan keterampilan pembuatan batik dengan menggunakan pewarna alami.
Kabun is a traditional farming system commonly practiced by people in Katingan District, Central Kalimantan. Land management carried out by the people of Katingan District since long ago using shifting cultivation. This farming system is an agroforestry system. The existence of "kabun" is expected as one of the mitigations of climate change, by maintaining the vegetation in the "kabun." The purpose of this study is to predict carbon storage of "kabun" as well as the history of management in the Buntut Bali Village, Pulau Malan subdistrict, Katingan District, Central Kalimantan. This research was carried out destructively for understorey and litter, and nondestructive for tree biomass and woody necromasses were carried out in 3 observation plots. In the observation plot 1 was obtained carbon stocks of 88.915 tons/ha, the presence of tree biomass contributed to carbon reserves of 81.263 tons/ha; plot of observations of the 2 carbon stocks obtained was 66,928 tons / ha, the most significant contribution of carbon stocks came from tree biomass 61,209 tons/ha; The plot of observations of the 3 carbon stocks was obtained at 72,375 tons/ha, and the biomass contribution of trees was 65,643 tons / ha.
This study aims to determine the perception that people living around the forest areas in conserving forest habitat preservation especially of the long tail monkey (Macaca fascicularis). Communities around the region are not yet aware of the importance of wildlife reserves mainly habitat the long tail monkey (Macaca fascicularis). Local communities know of the existence of the long tail monkey (Macaca fascicularis) in their area which is about 84.3% and most of them know by direct presence of the long tail monkey (Macaca fascicularis) in the amount of 67.1% but the local people do not know about nature conservation and habitat the long tail monkey ie 71.4% and most of them without intentional conduct habitat destruction and very little involved in conservation of the long tail monkey, including the open field activity of 60%, logging 52.9% and it does not matter to extinguish the flames during a wildfire that is 82.9%. It needs a continuous program and continuous from the relevant stakeholders to provide socialization to the local communities so that people can know about the conservation of nature and habitat of the long tail monkey, in the short term is necessary to rescue of the long tail monkey habitat that has been there from further damage.
