O uso de atividades lúdicas voltadas à sensibilização de usuários do serviço público da saúde na Atenção Primária atua de forma fundamental para aprimorar hábitos alimentares e escolhas saudáveis, trazendo maior qualidade de vida para a população. Nesse sentido, a utilização de materiais lúdicos na Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS) como forma de propagação de conhecimento tem efeito preventivo em saúde, evitando o desenvolvimento de doenças crônicas não transmissíveis e estimulando maior participação dos profissionais da saúde. Diante disso, o estudo em evidência possui o objetivo de relatar a experiência de alunos do 1º semestre do curso de Medicina na elaboração de um projeto voltado a boas práticas em saúde, a partir do estímulo à alimentação saudável. Para a realização da atividade, foi utilizado como material lúdico um vaso sanguíneo feito de biscuit, moléculas de gorduras, que poderiam ser adicionadas ou retiradas do vaso, e fotografias de alimentos saudáveis e maléficos à saúde. Essa dinâmica possuía o fito de fazer alusão aos efeitos negativos e positivos desses alimentos. Desse modo, a atividade feita com o vaso sanguíneo de biscuit foi extremamente bem recebida pela população e muito bem executada pelo grupo de alunos, permitindo que dúvidas fossem sanadas e que um contato direto com a comunidade fosse estabelecido. Nesse sentido, a atividade foi de suma relevância para o esboço de uma vida acadêmica e profissional para os estudantes do primeiro semestre de Medicina que participaram dessa ação.
INTRODUÇÃO:Estima-se que pelo menos 65 milhões de pessoas em todo o mundo tenham COVID-longa e apresentam sintomas: dispneia, fadiga, dor no peito, mialgia e distúrbios neurocognitivos. A etiopatogenia da COVID-longa ainda não foi totalmente elucidada. Porém, a ativação persistente dos mastócitos foi aventada como uma das causas. OBJETIVOS: Analisar o papel dos mastócitos nos sintomas da COVID-longa. METODOLOGIA: Trata-se de um estudo exploratório, com artigos obtidos das bases de dados LILACS/MEDLINE/EMBASE, 2020-2022. As palavras-chave (COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, Post-Acute COVID-19-Syndromes, mast cell, long-COVID) possibilitaram a seleção de seis artigos, que preencheram os critérios de inclusão. RESULTADOS: Os mastócitos expressam o principal receptor do SARS-CoV-2 (ECA2), que interage com a sua proteína Spike e, por estarem estrategicamente localizados na mucosa, regulam as formas benéficas ou prejudiciais das inflamações imunes. Após a infecção, os mastócitos se ativam e pode ocorrer, em alguns indivíduos, a síndrome de ativação de mastócito (SAM), caracterizada pela hiperativação dos mastócitos com liberação excessiva de seus mediadores inflamatórios: fator ativador de plaquetas, histamina, heparina, triptase, prostaglandinas, leucotrienos e citocinas (IL-1beta/IL-6). A ocorrência da SAM, durante o curso da infecção, está associada a COVID-grave e aos sintomas da COVID-longa por contribuir com o desenvolvimento da tempestade de citocinas pulmonar. É prevalente em 17% da população, tem heterogeneidade clínica e por ter sido reconhecida recentemente, muitos indivíduos não são diagnosticados e não recebem o devido tratamento. A disfuncionalidade dos mastócitos gera a sua ativação persistente crônica, com maior risco de complicações de longo prazo e, segundo alguns autores, mialgia e fadiga, pós-infecção pelo SARS-CoV-2, podem estar relacionadas ao agravamento da SAM. Os mastócitos hiperativados podem também participar de condições fibróticas e da tempestade de citocinas, gerando dano pulmonar e acúmulo de fluido pulmonar. Níveis aumentados de triptase foram observados em pacientes com COVID-longa e há correlação entre seus níveis elevados e de IL-6 e CXCL1 em pacientes com COVID-longa, demonstrando uma ativação sistêmica de mastócitos. CONCLUSÃO: A SAM participa dos sintomas da COVID-longa. Assim, faz-se necessário a sua compreensão e diagnóstico para que pacientes sejam tratados precocemente com anti-histamínicos, inibidores da síntese/liberação de mediadores e supressão da degranulação de mastócitos.
