O cenário ambiental vem se inserindo gradativamente na sociedade, inclusive a questão da produção energética de uma forma menos agressiva ao meio ambiente. Este trabalho fez a escolha de uma energia renovável a ser implementada em um condomínio residencial localizado no município de Eusébio, Ceará, dentre os seguintes tipos de energia: produzida pelo biodigestor, solar fotovoltaica, solar térmica e eólica. Trata-se de um estudo quantitativo e esse estudo fez a escolha através do método MACBETH. A área comum do condomínio consome cerca de 1260 kWh/mês, o que equivale a um gasto médio mensal de R$ 1043,5. Todos os sistemas possuíram sua potência limitada pela quantidade de resíduos orgânicos. Os critérios utilizados para a análise foram: Custos de Aquisição e Operação/Manutenção; Tempo de retorno do investimento; Economia total após Payback. A melhor opção de sistema a ser implantada é o solar térmico, seguido pelo sistema solar fotovoltaico, eólico e, por último, o sistema de biodigestão.
