We continue here our study [10][11][12][13] of the thermodynamic limit for various models of Quantum Chemistry, this time focusing on the Hartree-Fock type models. For the reduced Hartree-Fock models, we prove the existence of the thermodynamic limit for the energy per unit volume. We also define a periodic problem associated to the Hartree-Fock model, and prove that it is well-posed.RÉSUMÉ.
This paper is intended to review recent results and open problems concerning the existence of steady states to the Maxwell-Schrödinger system. A combination of tools, proofs and results are presented in the framework of the concentration-compactness method.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
