Antocianinas são as principais responsáveis por inúmeras tonalidades de cores encontradas em flores, frutas e folhas. São substâncias naturais do grupo dos flavonóides e servem para pigmentação por apresentarem coloração que varia do vermelho até o violeta. O objetivo principal desse projeto foi produzir tintas naturais a base de antocianinas, avaliando sua aplicabilidade e estabilidade em tecidos de algodão e de papel, utilizando extrato de amora (em solução aquosa de ácido cítrico 3%) e testar outras potenciais fontes de corantes e pigmentos, como açafrão, beterraba e urucum para o tingimento dos substratos.

Antocianinas são substâncias naturais do grupo dos flavonóides e são utilizadas para pigmentação por apresentarem coloração que varia do vermelho até o amarelo. Neste projeto, estudou-se o fruto da juçara para obtenção de extrato empregando a solução de ácido cítrico 3% (m/v) como solvente. Após a identificação da presença e quantificação das antocianinas no extrato obtido, foi desenvolvida formulação de sabonete líquido usando o extrato de juçara como corante natural. Também utilizou-se o fruto de açaí para obtenção de extrato e testes na formulação de sabonete líquido para comparação de resultados. O sabonete de juçara apresentou um índice de aceitabilidade de 88,2% com melhor avaliação em cor, e o sabonete de açaí teve um índice de aceitabilidade de 90,4% com melhor avaliação em textura e aroma. Os sabontes líquidos produzidos com os dois extratos não apresentaram alterações visíveis por mais de 30 dias, indicando a potencialidade dessa aplicação.
