Este artigo analisa dois discursos de Damares Alves sobre políticas públicas propostas pelo Ministério da Mulher, da Família e dos Direitos Humanos (MMFDH), a partir do marco teórico da Teoria da Reprodução Social (TRS), conforme formulado por feministas marxistas. Mais especificamente, trata-se das falas da Ministra na ocasião de lançamento da campanha “A Força da Mulher Brasileira” e do programa “Equilíbrio Trabalho-Família.” Em termos metodológicos, emprega-se uma perspectiva feminista da Análise Crítica do Discurso (ACD) para investigar como as questões de ‘gênero’ e ‘cuidado’ estão implicadas nos discursos da Ministra. Na discussão dos dois casos, elabora-se como Damares Alves, para além representar o setor neoconservador do governo Bolsonaro, está inserida em sua racionalidade neoliberal, já que privilegia a meritocracia, o individualismo e a privatização do cuidado. Por meio da moldura teórica da TRS, conclui-se que a orientação das políticas do Ministério resulta na individualização das desigualdades sociais, raciais e de gênero em cima da carga de trabalho de reprodução social realizada pelas mulheres.
