La finalidad del trabajo fue conocer la correlación entre las Competencias Profesionales de los Docentes y la Calidad en la Educación Universitaria. La metodología de estudio fue el correlacional, no experimental, el ámbito espacial de estudio fue la UNFV, la muestra fue de 60 estudiantes del décimo ciclo de estudios de la Facultad de Educación, quienes fueron evaluados a través de dos cuestionarios de encuesta; el primero para evaluar las Competencias Profesionales de los Docentes y el segundo para evaluar la Calidad en la Educación Universitaria. Los resultados hallados demuestran que hay una relación positiva, significativa y de nivel medio rho = 0,611 entre las Competencias Profesionales Docentes y la Calidad en la Educación Universitaria; entre las Competencias en Formación General y la Calidad en la Educación Universitaria la correlación fue positiva, significativa y de nivel bajo rho = 0,373; así mismo entre las Competencias de los Docentes en Formación Pedagógica y la Calidad en la Educación Universitaria, la correlación fue positiva, significativa y de nivel medio rho = 0,566; también entre las Competencias en Formación Especializada y la Calidad en la Educación Universitaria, la correlación fue positiva, significativa y de nivel bajo rho = 0,270. Las conclusiones establecen que existe relación entre las variables mencionadas.
