O sucesso e o fracasso escolar sob o olhar dos alunos do curso de gestão de obras do Progest/Cefet-Mg Success and school failure under the look of progest / Cefet-Mg works management course students
Diante das crescentes transformações nas estruturas de mercados, do acelerado processo de inovação tecnológica, da agressiva competição mundial e do extenso acesso à informação vivenciados na atualidade, a educação empreendedora se apresenta como um instrumento de desenvolvimento, capaz de contribuir para uma nova formação educacional fundada na diversidade cultural e no processo de inclusão social em contraposição às grandes desigualdades e processos de exclusão social determinados pelas diferenças de renda, poder e conhecimento. O Brasil enfrenta dificuldade de competir no mercado internacional devido, entre outros fatores, à baixa pontuação obtida no indicador relacionado aos recursos humanos e pesquisa, em especial, aos graduados em Ciências e Engenharia. Diante disso, discute-se a necessidade de atualização das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para os cursos de Engenharia, com o intuito de combinar a formação técnica sólida a uma formação mais humanística e empreendedora. O Vetor Norte da cidade de Belo Horizonte tem se consolidado como novo polo de expansão industrial, comercial e imobiliária das saturadas áreas central e sul da cidade exigindo, assim, ações de caráter empreendedor, que possam colaborar efetivamente para a melhoria da qualidade de vida de sua população. Acredita-se que os egressos dos cursos de Engenharia Civil, pelas características das intervenções necessárias ao desenvolvimento dessa região, seriam capazes de proporcionar a implementação de novos empreendimentos geradores de empregos, moradias, escolas, hospitais etc. Buscou-se então, saber se os Projetos Pedagógicos de Instituições Privadas dos Cursos de Engenharia Civil do Vetor Norte de Belo Horizonte contemplam a formação empreendedora no perfil de seus egressos.
