Abstrak-Ditinjau dari perkembangan bahasa, bahasa tidak lepas dari perkembangan bahasa lainnya. Perkembangan bahasa pada anak mempunyai beberapa tahapan hingga anak mampu berbahasa dengan baik. Beberapa dari tahapan tersebut, yaitu (1) perkembangan prelinguistik, (2) perkembangan fonologis, (3) perkembangan semantik, (4) perkembangan gramatikal dan (5) perkembangan pragmatik. Penyebab adanya kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi disebut dengan gangguan berbahasa.Gangguan berbahasa dapat disebabkan oleh terjadinya pada anak yang berkebutuhan khusus cenderung mempunyai gangguan maupun hambatan dalam berbahasa. Ganguan ini terjadi bisa secara langsung maupun secara tidak langsung.Gangguan yang terjadi secara tidak langsung misalnya kerusakan pada organ wicara, dan gangguan yang terjadi secara tidak langsung misalnya keterbatasan kognitif sehingga anak kesulitan dalam memahami makna dari suatu kata.

The research aims to determine the effectiveness of applying the Google Classroom Application on the students' Writing Skills from grade X1 of SMA Swasta Gajah Mada Medan. The research applied the quantitative method with experimental design. The data were analyzed using the mathematics system related to the methods applied in the research. According to the research findings, it is concluded that Applying Google Classroom Application potentially gives more effectiveness in teaching writing skills to the students. After the post-test is done, the mean score of applying Google Classroom Application is 85.65. The standard deviation is 7.353, and the number of students is 26. The mean by applying conventional strategy is 62.00, the standard deviation is 3.943, and the number of students is 24. From the research result, the researchers found that the mean score of the experimental group students was improved by 17.10. In the controlled group, the mean score of the students was improved by 9.75. After the post-test by applying Google Classroom Application to the students is undertaken, the normality test result is 0.465. After a post-test to the students by applying the conventional teaching method in the controlled group is given, the normality test result is 0.243. The research finding explained that the Google Classroom Application successfully improved the students' writing skills, especially at SMA Swasta Gajah Mada Medan during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This study examines diathesis in the South Tapanuli Mandailing language using a morphosyntactic approach. The purpose of this research is to describe the form of diathesis and the classification and structure of diathesis in Mandailing language. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative research type. The data of this research is the South Tapanuli Mandailing language unit which contains diathesis. The results of the analysis show that there are four types of diathesis in the South Tapanuli Mandailing language, namely active, passive, reflexive, and reciprocal.
The current article provides a Critical Discourse Analysis (Forth, CDA) of news report of Corruption Eradication Commission (Forth, KPK). The same topic was reported in two different newspapers such as Analisa and Sumut Pos newspaper and was published on Sunday, 15th December 2014. Analisa and Sumut Pos newspaper are Local newspapers in Medan. The present study is done by using CDA perspective in order to explore the scope and nature of the two newspapers’ ideologies, for instance, to support or against the group of people or institution and how the reporters’ intervention is used in framing the news stories to make readers understand them in the way by the producer of the text. The methodology used is based on three elements in CDA’s analysis namely: Descriptive (Text analysis), Interpretation (Processing analysis) and Explanation (Social analysis). The finding shows how the hidden ideologies framed by the producer of the text. The study shows how language is used in constructing certain ideologies and how these ideologies exercise a great deal of power in shaping the local reader’s interpretation of the given facts. The perspectives presented tended to be in line with the beliefs held by the two newspaper’s target reader.
