In the context of Digital Economy the usage of information and communication technology to promote commercial operations has grown significantly with the advent of electronic business and networking systems. This research focuses on the new generation technologies and on communications between all supply chain components. The study enable Russian and Thai retail supply chain administrators and market leaders (including policy makers) to share their expert opinion about impact of digital transformation on supply chain performance. Once each organization affirmed its commitment to be engage in the interview, analytical conclusions were made on the basic of semi-structured open discussions and surveys of 18-36 employees from each organization which were combined in such a way as to present a complete profile of the organizations readiness to Industry 4.0 strategy. 236 semi-structured open interviews focused on a few topics and keywords have been performed. In fact, five generalized qualitative interviews (profiles) present the analytical evidence from five leading brands. This approach helps to consider more fully how they perceive and understand digital transformation. The purpose was to gain a rich basis of the interviewed person’s content and this approach is quite well adapted to analyses. The research implemented the quantitative methodology throughout using the named data and had been treated with SPSS statistical tool for hypotheses validation. As the result statistically evidenced presence of a relationship between digitalization, the Industry 4.0 technologies and supply chain performance.
The current stage in the evolution of logistics theory and supply chain management is characterized by an increasing interest in a range of new concepts, such as sustainable development, sustainability, strength, flexibility, adaptability, reaction speed, and reliability. The improvement of reliability and efficient organization of supply chains have an impact not only on the activities of individual economic entities included in this supply chain, but also on the pace and proportions of economic development of the Russian national economy as a whole.The article analyses domestic and foreign scientific works, which consider issues of supply chain reliability, essence and concept of strategic approach and strategic alternatives for optimal strategy formation of supply chain reliability improvement. Factors affecting the formation of reliability strategies in supply chains, requirements and methods ensuring reliability of supply chains are systematized. An integral indicator for evaluating the reliability of the supply chain is proposed and a system of reliability indicators is formulated. This indicator measures the quality of the developed strategy for improving the reliability of the supply chain and compares the reliability of the supply chain before and after the formation of the strategy and the reliability of the various supply chains.
In given article it was analysed the intrinsic characteristic of concepts on the basis of the system approach: uncertainty, risk and stability in chains of deliveries. The basic directions of development of the modern theory and practice in the field of management of safety in chains of deliveries were formulated. The purpose of the given work is studying of sources of uncertainty in chains of deliveries and development of operating influences for stability maintenance in chains of deliveries. In the given article management of safety in chains of deliveries is investigated with use of all arsenal of methods of economic influences in connection with toolkit of the general theory of systems, the system analysis, the theory of probability, cybernetics and logistics. In the beginning of the article we prove an actuality of a considered problem and formulate the purposes and problems of the given research. Then we specify set of methods used during the decision of tasks and we offer standard set of the actions providing balance of indignant and operating influences.
The article is devoted to the issues and problems of the significance of the logistics potential in the activities of commercial structures. The paper considers the views of various scientists on the logistics potential from the point of view on the theory and practice of logistics. The methodological tools of the study are based on the analysis of information sources that consider this problem, as well as approaches to assessing the logistics potential. This allowed the authors to propose a methodical approach to assessing the logistics potential based on the inclusion on which the indicator value depends.
