The paper discusses the need to develop effective tools for social and labour monitoring of personnel with regard to the transition to remote employment. It shows that the percentage of employees working remotely has increased over time. The events of 2020 only strengthened this trend and accelerated many processes associated with the digitalization of management and production processes. The purpose of the study is to analyze and assess the features of social and labour monitoring in the context of the transition to remote employment. Many companies use special software tools to judge the effectiveness of the use of working time. The authors have analyzed the software products most often used by companies in the transition to remote employment and identified the principles that companies should adhere to in order to effectively transform their activities in the current environment. The implementation of such systems is always associated with the ethical side of control. Therefore, finding a balance between control and trust is an important condition for effective work. A comparative analysis of the level of technical equipment by country has been carried out. The authors have drawn conclusions about the possibilities of switching to a hybrid mode of operation for certain areas of activity in the future. The greatest potential for remote employment remains among well-qualified workers. The article shows that the possibilities of switching to remote employment directly depend on the structure of the economy (the share of the financial sector and agriculture), as well as on the possibility of automating the type of activity that brings the greatest income to the state.
Labour productivity is among conventional tools of sustainable development and a subject of modern research in economic and social sciences. Systematic work to stimulate its growth is carried out through the centres of competence and labour productivity growth created in a number of countries (the overview of which is given in our paper). At the same time, recent research works frequently highlight the importance of social factors of growth along with technical ones. Attention is paid to the introduction of lean production practices and programmes for organizational culture transformation. Estimation of labour productivity faces a number of difficulties at both macro and micro levels. They are investigated and addressed in the current paper. The main purpose of the paper is to identify factors having the greatest impact on the level of labour productivity and the way of their estimation in different countries on the basis of a comparative analysis of their labour productivity management and monitoring policies. As a part of the study, we conducted a comparative analysis of Russia and a number of foreign countries in terms of labour productivity (namely, USA, G7, European Union-28, Japan, and China). The dynamics of GDP per hour worked and GDP per employee as the indicators of labour productivity for our comparison has been used. It is calculated that labour productivity in Russia is about 2 times lower than in the developed countries. Models that allow different countries of the world to achieve a high level of labour productivity have been singled out based on the conducted research It is concluded that with regard to the Russian national mentality, a rational model of labour relations should be based on three unified systems: the tariff, the resultant, and the profit-sharing one.
The article analyzes the current state of the transport service sector of the Russian Federation and shows that it occupies a dominant place in the structure of GDP, and more than half of the able-bodied population of the Russian Federation are employed in the transport service sector. Based on the analysis of the internal and external environment of the transport service enterprise, the influence of the digital transformation of business processes on the enterprise as a whole is investigated. Methods for identifying and analyzing risks are proposed, these methods are considered on the example of a transport service company. The identification process was carried out using the method of SWOT analysis, which showed that the strength of the enterprise is automation and high technology, and the main risk is the risk of revenue shortfall, which is associated with factors such as failures in the work of information technology, low efficiency of online marketing, failures in reservation system, imperfection of personnel selection and assessment information programs. The study showed that a transport service company is exposed to risks with a high probability and a significant amount of damage; such risks require preventive measures to eliminate them. The proposed methods for identifying and analyzing the risks of digital transformation will be useful to senior management of transport service enterprises.
Oracle E-Business Suite.
