Early adulthood is one of the crucial moments of an individual’s life since it marks a person’s thinking seriously regarding the future, especially in careers. An individual will firstly make a series of career decisions before choosing a career. Self-efficacy is the best predictor of students’ academic and social integration. This study used a quantitative method with a descriptive analysis approach to describe and identify the status of career decision-making self-efficacy students in preparing for career decisions. Participants of the current study were 196 students from different backgrounds such as genders, choice of majors, domiciles, and types of accommodation. Participants were selected using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is Career Decision Self Efficacy. The findings revealed that 70.9 % of the students are in a high level of Career Decision Self Efficacy (M= 98.9), and there were no differences in Career Decision Self Efficacy among students reviewed based on genders, and choice of majors, domiciles, and types of accommodations.
A gampong, generally known as a village, is a legal community unit with territorial boundaries and is led by a keuchik or other name who has the right to carry out their household affairs. In its implementation, there are obstacles felt by the village government while working, such as the condition of the work environment that results in low quality of work life. In contrast, the quality of work life must be conditioned by the organization so that the welfare and productivity of employees go well, one way to improve the quality of work life is to apply job characteristics model. Job characteristics are job attributes that have a motivational function for employees. Therefore, research is needed to determine the relationship between job characteristics and the quality of work life of the village government. This study used a quantitative approach with purposive sampling data collection techniques. The research sample comprised 297 village governments in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. Data was collected using the Job Diagnostic Survey scale and the quality of work-life scale. The results of this study explained that the hypothesis is accepted where the significance value is p = 0.000, which meant that there was a relationship between job characteristics and the quality of working life of the village government. That is, the higher the job characteristics, the higher the quality of work life of the village governments. This study found that the job characteristics and quality of work life were in the medium category. The results also found that the quality of work life in the Banda Aceh village government was higher than that of the Aceh Besar village government. This is due to clear working hours and higher salaries, in addition to weekly supervision from the sub-district on the performance of the Banda Aceh village government.
Keterikatan karyawan menjadi penting bagi sebuah perusahaan karena dengan adanya rasa keterikatan yang tinggi, karyawan akan meningkatkan kinerjanya menjadi lebih produktif, sehingga mampu menaikkan profitabilitas perusahaan. Hal yang mendorong karyawan memiliki rasa keterikatan yang tinggi terhadap pekerjaannya adalah dengan mempersepsikan adanya keadilan organisasi yang dirasakan karyawan dalam perusahaan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keadilan organisasi dengan keterikatan karyawan pada karyawan tetap PT. X Lhokseumawe. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 55 karyawan tetap PT. X Lhokseumawe menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan adaptasi Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) (α=0,937), dan adaptasi Organizational Justice Survey (OJS) (α=0,945). Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi Spearman yang memperlihatkan nilai r=0,554. Hasil ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara keadilan organisasi dan keterikatan karyawan pada karyawan tetap PT. X Lhokseumawe.
AbstrakPerkuliahan daring yang dilakukan karena pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan adanya temuan konflik dan rasa tidak percaya yang dialami oleh mahasiswa baru di salah satu Fakultas di Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas intervensi team building dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan interpersonal antar anggota kelompok. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen sederhana satu kelompok studi sebelum dan sesudah tes (pre-experimental one group pre post study). Intervesi team building yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini berupa intervensi dalam jaringan (virtual). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 13 mahasiswa baru. Subjek diberikan pengukuran melalui skala kepercayaan interpersonal sebelum dan setelah selesai intervensi dilakukan. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang dilakukan memberikan pengaruh terhadap kepercayaan interpersonal anggota kelompok. Terdapat peningkatan kepercayaan interpersonal anggota kelompok setelah diberi intervensi. Meskipun diberikan secara virtual, perubahan yang signifikan ini dapat disebabkan oleh pengalaman virtual memberikan hal yang lebih berkesan sehingga membuat mahasiswa lebih engaged dengan kelompoknya. Studi pre-experimental ini dapat dijadikan landasan untuk melihat pengaruh intervensi team building terhadap kepercayaan interpersonal melalui studi eksperimen murni. Mengingat perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat, berdasarkan hasil studi ini juga dapat dikembangkan berbagai intervensi psikologis lainnya yang berbasis internet (virtual). Kata Kunci: Intervensi, Kepercayaan Interpersonal, Team Building Metode Daring AbstractOnline lectures due to the Covid-19 pandemic led to findings of conflict and distrust experienced by new students at one of the faculties in Aceh. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of team building interventions in increasing interpersonal trust among group members. This study was a simple experimental study of one study group (pre-experimental one group pre post study). The team building intervention was a network intervention (virtual). The subjects consisted of 13 new students. Subjects were given measurements through the interpersonal trust scale before and after the intervention was completed. The measurement results showed that the intervention has an influence on the interpersonal trust of group members. There is an increase in interpersonal trust of group members after being given the intervention. Even though it was delivered virtually, this significant change could be caused by the virtual experience providing a more memorable thing that made students more engaged with their group. This pre-experimental study can be used as a reference to evaluate the effect of team building intervention on interpersonal trust by conducting a pure experimental study. Given the rapid development of technology, based on the results of this study, various other internet-based psychological interventions (virtual) can also be developed.
