Background. Seizures are a common clinical manifestation in the emergency room. Nearly 5% of children aged under 16 years. Seizures are important as a sign of neurological disorders. Members of interferon are widely studied with seizures and epileptogenesis is interferon-γ. In a study by Choi in 2011, a study of seizures in humans showed that the condition of status epilepticus increased levels of interferon-γ which is quite high compared to patients not status epilepticus seizures. In response to the aftermath of the seizure, Interferon-γ system induces the formation of IL-10 acts as an anti-inflammatory agent that aims to put an end to the action of Interferon-γ. Objective. To know role of Interferon-γ and IL-10 in children with status epilepticus. Methods. This research using cross sectional design with recruiting 30 study sample consisted of 15 children in the seizure group SE and 15 children in the group without SE seizures. Measured levels of IFN-γ and interleukin-10 by ELISA. Results were analyzed with the Mann-Whitney and corelation Spearman to see the relationship levels of IFN-γ and IL-10 in children with status epilepticus with SPSS-23. Results. The results showed significant differences between groups SE and convulsive seizures non SE ;IL-10 (p = 0.000) and IFN-γ (p = 000). Conclusion. There are significant correlation between the levels of IFN-γ and IL-10 with status epilepticus.
Introduction: Congenital hypothyroidism is defined as a state of thyroid hormone deficiency present at birth. Congenital hypothyroidism must be diagnosed immediately because delay in therapy may cause irreversible neurological deficits, such as mental retardation in children. However, this condition can be prevented by screening in newborns so that congenital hypothyroidism can be diagnosed and treated early, and can result in better neurological development. This study aims to determine the congenital hypothyroidism ratio in Malang from March to November 2020. Methods: The descriptive analysis method was used in this research. The subjects were neonates aged 0 – 28 days with a gestational age of 36 weeks and were involving the Health Office in both the Regency and the City of Malang. The data about identity, gender, age at screening, and gestational age were collected. A laboratory screening test was performed by taking a blood sample from the heel or vein for a TSH test. If the result was positive with a TSH value > 20 U/mL, the subject would be recalled for having a confirmation test and referred to a pediatric endocrinologist. Results: There were 2024 (88.34%) subjects were successfully screened from a total of 2291 subjects. The recall rate for congenital hypothyroidism was 1:2024 (0.04%). Conclusion: The ratio of congenital hypothyroidism cases in Malang from March to November 2020 was higher than the global ratio, which was 1:3000. The high rate of congenital hypothyroidism in Malang indicated the need for congenital hypothyroidism screening in newborns.
In the historical development of Islamic knowledge, there was one interesting and unique tradition, i.e. the tradition of writing by giving annotation toward a previous work, and then this annotation was annotated again by another author. The work that became a main source or reference, which was called matn, then was annotated in the farm of syarh, and this syarh, then, was given explanation, which was called hasyiyah or faotnotes to put the sources or detail explanation on main of syarh that were not included in the main text. There was also hamisy in the annotation. The function of hamisy was similar to the hasyiyah. While the hamisy was put in the flanks or borders of the book, the hasyiyah (footnotes) was put on the bottom of pages in a smaller fant of letters. However, if the annotation was considered too long, the other ulama summarize it in the farm of mukhtashar. It seems that these writing systems had been conducted from the fall of Islamic civilization until the twentieth century. One factor that caused this condition was the intellectual ignorance because of various external factors in the political process and political structure in that period so that it influenced the intellectual of some Muslim thinkers at the moment. They viewed that knowledge or science was finished, and what thry could do was to understand what had been inherited by previous generations. kaywords: hasyiyah, syarh, ta'liq
Poverty alleviation can be done through the social function of Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) such as the management and development of cash waqf. In this case, the government has issued several regulations to support the management and development of cash waqf. This study aims to analyze the social function of BMT Artha Amanah Bantul based on the management and development aspects of cash waqf in accordance with the Indonesian laws and regulations. This research is descriptive qualitative research with interview data collection methods conducted on the administrator of BMT and wakif. The results showed that the management and development of cash waqf in BMT Artha Amanah Bantul has included planning, organizing, leadership, and controlling, while the development of cash waqf covered management patterns, the welfare of nazir, and transparency and accountability. But some efforts to manage and develop the cash waqf undertaken by BMT Artha Amanah Bantul were still not in accordance with the applied laws and regulations. These incompatibilities have implications for the management and development of cash waqf. However, it can be concluded that the management and development of cash waqf in BMT Artha Amanah Bantul based upon the laws and regulations in Indonesia has reflected the social function of BMT.
