The purpose of this study was to determine students' responses to history learning using documentary film media based on local historical sites at SMKN 1 Lubuklinggau. This research method is included in development research using a 4-D research model which has been modified into 3-D including the Definition stage, the Planning stage, and the Development stage. The data collection technique used in this study was to provide a response questionnaire after learning using documentary film media based on local historical sites was completed, with a total of 18 questions. Furthermore, the data collection technique used is in the form of a Likert scale. The results of the study based on the calculation of the results of the response questionnaire that were filled in by the students showed that the average score of student responses was 75.6% in the good category. The conclusion of this study as a whole the students gave positive responses, besides that the documentary film media based on local historical sites was quite liked when it was used in the learning process. Introduction. This study aims to describe infrastructure development in the city of Palembang during the reign of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I. Data Collection Method. This research uses historical (historical) methods. Data collection techniques in this study use the following steps: Heuristics (source collection), Verification (source criticism), Interpretation (historical fact analysis), and historiography (historical writing). Result and discussion. The results of this study indicate: (1) Development of Palembang Darussalam Sultanat Infrastructure before Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I came to power. (2) Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I was a figure of the father of the Palembang Darussalam Sultanate Development 1724-1758. (3) Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin I carried out Infrastructure development whose name is still very well known, namely, Kuto Besak and the Palembang Great Mosque. Based on the conclusions above, the results of this study are recommended so that it can be used as a comparison material with subsequent research. Tari Turak adalah sebuah tari tradisional yang ada di Kabupaten Musi Rawas yang memiliki nilai historing yang sangat tinggi dan menjadi salah satu kekayaan budaya Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Tari Turak diperkirakan telah ada sejak zaman kolonial, hal ini dibuktikan dengan penampilan tari ini yang ditujukan untuk melumpuhkan tentara NICA yang ingin menguasai wilayah Tanjung Sakti dengan senjata turak. Metode peneltian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis dengan tahapan: 1) identifikasi dan merumuskan masalah; 2) menyusun kerangka pemikiran; 3) merumuskan hipotesis; 4) menguji hipotesis secara empirik; 5) melakukan pembahasan; 6) menarik kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan: studi kepustakaan, observasi (pengamatan), wawancara (interview), dokumentasi dan triangulasi (gabungan). Teknik analisis data terdiri dari: data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bawah visualisasi busana Tari Turak pada awal dipentaskan tidak sama dengan busana tari turak saat ini. Busana Tari Turak masa kolonial terdiri dari: Kebaya/dodot, sanggul malang dan bunga untuk pemanis di kepala, kain sebagai rok, selendang dan dan turak sebagai properti pendukung. Sementara itu, busana Tari Turak saat ini mengikuti perkembangan pakaian adat Musi Rawas yang terdiri dari: a) bagian atas: baju kurung, mahkota Musi Rawas/mahkota beringin/pilis, anting, sanggul malang dan kembang cempako; b) bagian tengah: lidah Musi Rawas/teratai Musi Rawas/teratai lidah, kalung Musi Rawas, gelang, kain pelangi atau selendang pelangi; c) bagian bawah: kain songket atau sewet songket. Secara keseluruhan makna yang terkandung dalam busana Tari Turak modern ini adalah keanggunan, kesopanan, kesucian, kekeluargaan, kerapian, ketenangan, kecantikan, kemuliaan, keagungan, kesabaran, ketabahan hati, keramahan, kebahagiaan, kemakmuran dan keberanian.
The background of this research is that the current history learning system determines the achievement of students at the high school level. This is based on the different learning styles of each student's character. The purpose of this study was to determine students' learning styles in the history of high school learning process towards increasing achievement. The learning style of students determines the enthusiasm in learning High School History. This research method is descriptive analysis with qualitative studies. Sources in this study are the results of interviews and review sources of journal references that are relevant to the research study. The results of the study were: History learning in the era of globalization is currently experiencing a change in history learning in school teaching. In addition to the increasingly developing curriculum, the emphasis of History learning is more emphasized on the value of good ethical attitudes. While the learning styles of high school students towards learning History are in accordance with the progress of times and technology, History teachers must be able to innovate so that History learning becomes interesting. Each student has a different way of studying History learning. The role of the History teacher in packaging History lessons to be interesting is very important. The conclusion of this research is that history learning must be adjusted to the increasingly sophisticated progress of the times. The increase in student achievement in studying History must be enhanced by the use of media reference sources and other historical sources. The new finding that the researcher found was that teachers and students had to work together in studying history. History teachers must be open to technology that provides benefits for learning History. The benefits for history will be sustainable if they are packaged properly. In addition, studying History will make humans wiser in the present and in the future.
Museum merupakan salah satu sumber belajar penting dalam Pendidikan Sejarah. Kota Lubuklinggau memiliki Museum SUBKOSS untuk pembelajaran sejarah. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana sejarah dan pemanfaatan Museum SUBKOOS di Lubuklinggau. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan latar belakang berdirinya Museum SUBKOSS dan pemanfaatan museum SUBKOSS sebagai sumber belajar sejarah di Lubuklinggau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dimana teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah guru sejarah di sekolah menegah dalam lingkup Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Lubuklinggau. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdirinya Museum SUBKOSS dilatarbelakangi tempat tersebut merupakan rumah pejabat Belanda yang selanjutnya dijadikan tempat tinggal pejabat Jepang setelah Indonesia dikuasai Jepang. Kedua Museum SUBKOSS dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran di luar kelas dengan cara mendatanginya, di mana hal tersebut dapat menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air dan jiwa nasionalisme.Kata kunci: Pemanfaaatan, Museum SUBKOSS, Sumber BelajarThe museum is one of the important learning resources in Historical Education. The city of Lubuklinggau has a SUBKOSS Museum for history learning. The problem in this study is how the history and utilization of the SUBKOOS Museum in Lubuklinggau. The purpose of this study is to describe the background of the establishment of the SUBKOSS Museum and the use of the SUBKOSS Museum as a source of historical learning in Lubuklinggau. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, in which data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The sample in this study was a history teacher in a secondary school within the scope of the Education and Culture Office of Lubuklinggau City. The results of this study indicate that the establishment of the SUBKOSS Museum is based on the place that is the home of a Dutch official who is then used as a residence for Japanese officials after Indonesia was conquered by Japan. Both SUBKOSS Museums can be alternatives to learning outside the classroom by visiting them, where they can foster a sense of patriotism and the spirit of nationalism.Keywords: Utilization, SUBKOSS Museum, Learning Resources
