Wayang wong art is interesting because it is one of the arts that are considered sacred by the local community. But in Sidan Village, wayang wong is only danced during special religious ceremonies. In the procession, before the performance was danced by the local community, a special ritual was performed for the dancers. Field observations were not found in any form of documentation that refers to the series of events, including photographs or video recordings. Based on interviews with dancer groups, regeneration is carried out from generation to generation directly. The absence of physical or digital documents motivates follow-up to explore this artistic phenomenon. The qualitative method was through observation data collection where a series of wayang wong art processions and interviews were conducted with dancers and traditional village leaders who knew the existence of this art. Then it is compared with the video design process so that a series of stories is obtained in the form of a documentary film. The finalization of the documentary was then delegated directly to the local community so that it could be used as a reference for further studies by academics or arts practitioners. It aims to preserve the art of the sacred wayang wong which has been rare in Bali. Keywords: film, documentary, dance, wayang wong, Bali
The development of technology is very helpful in teaching and learning in general. However, these developments can also be used for students with disabilities, especially those who have communication disorders and deafness. But in reality, teachers are still limited in managing the development of teaching materials even though school facilities are sufficient to do that. This is very reasonable considering the limitations of educators who must specifically focus on trends in the development of technology-based education. The interactive method is one alternative solution, especially the role of multimedia technology in learning media. At the school for students with disabilities in Denpasar, SLB B Sidakarya for the category of communication disorder and deafness requires the media to follow these developments. In the initial design stage, taking vocabulary content for grade 1 students, by gathering various data needs, especially from the users, namely teachers and students. The data then becomes the basis for designing interactive multimedia vocabulary learning, which is the basic development of several subjects. The media will have a positive impact, especially increasing student interest in school, with files that are relatively lightweight and processed in design research, expected to be easier for students to learn. This media can also be a medium to help when students study at home, especially the Covid-19 pandemic period, certainly helped by collaboration between the school and design practitioners. In addition to vocabulary, it is also expected to be able to motivate development in other media to assist persons with disabilities in learning, especially in pandemic situations.
Tattoos in the realm of Indonesian culture has now entered the realm of the tourism industry. Bali in particular, the tattoo is a promising industry, especially in tourist destinations. The presence of rapid tourism development and support of information technology provides opportunities for the enrichment of works in tattoos. Previous influence of outer style on a tattoo in Bali give the effect of shifting perspective to tattoo phenomenon during this time. Changes also occur in ornaments that penetrate the art or tradition ornaments because previously this is a taboo to do. The first step is to collect the data purposively so that it can be interpreted and described in a qualitative comparative analysis. The existence of commodities makes an indication of commodification in the practice of tattoo Balinese script, and there is the hidden motivation behind it. The meaning that can be extracted in this phenomenon is the symbolization that is understood only by the artist and his collector. This situation is symbiotic with the market changing the value that exists in the object and also emerges a creative effort that impacts on the sustainability of traditional Balinese script.
Packaging creative media in augmented reality technology has become a new media in the face of the industrial revolution 4.0. The rapid development of the latest technology has caused problems for traditional Balinese culture - the phenomenon of colliding traditional culture towards the industrial revolution 4.0, motivating the development of culture-based technology. Bali has a variety of storytelling cultures, one of which is the traditional story of Cupak and Grantang. Story designation based on traditional fairy tale literacy will collaborate with augmented reality technology to add value to local content. The use of technological developments in traditional stories increases opportunities for cultural preservation in the form of creative and commercial media, while at the same time providing design solutions for Balinese native folk media in the field of augmented reality technology with traditional stories so that they can exist in the industrial era based on the industrial revolution 4.0 with native Balinese elements.
