The COVID-19 pandemic situation is still ongoing in many countries in the world, including Indonesia. The positive case continues to increase every day and impacts our life, including the fisheries’ family. The fishery is a vulnerable sector to climate change, and this day worsened by a pandemic situation. This paper aims to understand the resources attached to fishing families facing various pressures and risks, forms of response, and adaptation within the fishing families. During COVID-19 pandemic situation, we have to carried out an online ethnographic approach by online-focused group discussion (FGD) to fisherman group and fisherman wives. Purworejo village was selected as a research site because it is the one with the largest number of small-scale fishing families in Java’s northern coastal area. The results show that various pressures and risks faced by fishery families, not only related to climate change and COVID-19 such as fishing season, limited resources, capital, and access, but also a risk on their internal family. In the context of fishery family resilience, each family member has a role in dealing with stressors, especially economic stressors. Fathers look for fish in the sea almost eight hours a day; children also go to sea when economic conditions continue to deteriorate; even a fisherman’s wife has the same responsibilities as her husband.
Abstract. Patawari AMY, Anna Z, Hindayani P, Dhahiyat Y, Hasan Z, Putri IAP. 2022. Sustainability status of small-scale fisheries resources in Jakarta Bay, Indonesia after reclamation. Biodiversitas 23: 1715-1725. Reclamation in Jakarta Bay was initially implemented by constructing a giant 60 km long embankment in the area and 17 small islands in front of the coast of North Jakarta, but then it was stopped in 2018. After reclamation closures have affected fishery resources, especially small-scale ones that rely on catchment areas around the coastal waters of Jakarta Bay. To ensure the resource utilization level that meets the needs of the present and future generations, managing sustainably small-scale fish resources is crucial. This study aimed to analyze the sustainability status of small-scale fisheries in Jakarta Bay after reclamation. The results showed that efforts to manage small-scale fishery resources in the waters of Jakarta Bay-from the dimensions of fisheries, ecological, social, legal and institutional- are in unsustainable conditions. To improve the status, policy makers should consider 16 prioritized attributes on ecology, resource potential, economic, social, legal and institutional.
Health workers have an important role in implementation the Covid-19 vaccination to provide health services in accordance with service standards, professional standards, and standard operating procedures. This study aims to determine the role of PMIK in the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination to support the health information system at Bhayangkara Tk.II Sartika Asih Hospital Bandung. The research method used is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are direct observation, interviews and documentation studies. The data taken in this study is the list of daily vaccine administrations and the number of monthly vaccines from March to May 2022. The results of the research show that the role of PMIK in the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination is in accordance with the competency standards that have been set to support the health information system. There were several problems found, namely: 1) The flow of the Covid-19 vaccination implementation which was still using the 4-table flow. 2) at the registration section there are vaccine participants who drop out due to time constraints. Suggestions that can be given are: 1) Hospitals should implement a simplification of the vaccination flow. 2) Good communication between officers and participants of Covid-19 vaccination is required. Keywords: The Role of PMIK, Covid-19 Vaccination, and Health Information System
Biaya yang bisa dikurangi setiap tahun dengan menggunakan kombinasi input yangoptimal adalah sebesar Rp. 3.418.152,05.Title: Technical Efficiency and Input Optimization of Common Carp Cultureon Floating Net Cage in CirataCommon Carp Culture with Floating Net Cage (KJA) method in West Java Province has the highestproduction among the other species. It is more or less accounted for 48 % of common carp productionof West Java Province yield from KJA method. Cirata is one of the inland water, with high-yielding Carpon KJA. Problems faced by fish farmers in Cirata is continuous price increases, which cause a declinein their profits. To maximize the profits, this paper will analyzed the cost minimizing factor input (feed, fry and labor), in order to determine the best combination of factor input to produce given output withlowest cost, using Sheppard’s Lemma method. More over efficiency analysis using Data EnvelopmentAnalysis was also conducted. the result of cost minimization by means of Sheppard’s Lemma showsthe optimal input combination for one KJA unit were 23,459.99 kg for feed, 556.62 kg for fry and 424.18HKP for labor. Fish farmer could decrease their production cost for about Rp. 3,418,152.05 by using thecombination of optimal input. Efficiency analysis shows that only 4 % DMU’s were fully efficient.
