O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a influência do reforço com fibra de vidro e viscosidade da resina na resistência à fratura de prótese parcial fixa adesiva (PPFA). Um molde de aço inoxidável foi confeccionado simulando preparos oclusais para PPFA em primeiro pré-molar superior (4x4x2mm) e molar (6x4x2mm), com uma caixa proximal (2x1x4mm) e 7mm de distância entre eles. Esses moldes foram duplicados em poliuretano (n = 60) e divididos em dois grupos de acordo com a viscosidade da resina: G - Grandio SO (VOCO) (n= 30) e GHF - Grandio SO Heavy flow (VOCO) (n= 30). Estes grupos foram subdivididos em três subgrupos de acordo com o reforço de fibra de vidro utilizado (n = 10): Subgrupo N - sem reforço de fibra de vidro; Subgrupo V - GRANDTEC (VOCO); subgrupo S – everStick C & B (Stick Tech). Quatro incrementos divididos em 2 camadas, 2 na parte inferior e 2 na parte superior dos preparos foram fotopolimerizados de acordo com as instruções dos fabricantes. Uma força vertical foi aplicada no centro das peças a uma velocidade de 1mm/min. Os dados foram obtidos em Kgf e submetidos a ANOVA a 2 fatores e teste de Tukey (? = 0,05). A ANOVA mostrou diferenças significativas para reforço de fibra de vidro. Subgrupo N (24,45 ± 3,60)a foi significativamente diferente do subgrupo S (32,54 ± 6,94)b e subgrupo V (37,18 ± 5,33)c. As fibras de vidro testadas foram capazes de melhorar a resistência à fratura de PPFA. A Fibra GRANDTEC apresentou os maiores valores de resistência à fratura e, para as resinas estudadas, a viscosidade não teve influência na resistência à fratura de PPFA .
gmail RESUMOObjetivo: O vírus da Covid-19 surgiu na China em 2019. Conhecido como um beta vírus de RNA, já matou milhares de pessoas ao redor do mundo. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo realizar um estudo acerca da associação entre a coagulopatia e a infecção pela Covid-19. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de revisão, de natureza descritiva e exploratória. Este tipo de estudo é evidenciado por analisar informações de assunto por meio da síntese dos resultados anteriores. Resultados e Discussão: A patogênese das complicações trombóticas em pacientes com Covid-19 permanece. Os resultados do estudo mostram que a infecção pelo SARS-CoV-2 está intimamente relacionada a manifestações pulmonares graves como a síndrome de angústia respiratória grave (SDRA) por sua inflamação difusa pulmonar ou extrapulmonar, ao tromboembolismo pulmonar (TEP) devido a localização errática de um trombo nas artérias pulmonares, e principalmente a coagulopatias por se tratar de um prognóstico negativo significante no quadro do paciente na maioria dos casos. Conclusão: De acordo com a literatura, embora os mecanismos específicos ainda não estejam claros, a infecção pelo SARS-CoV-2 envolve processos potencialmente danosos na coagulação e inflamação. Entretanto, a Covid-19 pode ter um comportamento grave, caracterizado por uma resposta imunológica com hiperinflamação e hipercoagulabilidade evoluindo para trombose e Coagulação Intravascular Disseminada (CIVD).
