The increase of socio-pathological phenomena in adults in Slovakia manifested itself also in the increase of risky and problem behaviour in children and youth. The scale of risky or problem behaviour is broad and it is constantly changing. The reality of school practice is illustrated by the results of researches carried out among pupils, teachers and prevention workers. Creation of safe school environment, elimination of undesired behaviour, including risky and problem behaviour is the current task of schools. The author deals with the current situation of pupil´s risky and problem behaviour at primary and secondary schools. She presents the selected results of researches in the Slovak Republic.
