L as mujeres con discapacidad no presentan una situación de vida igual que el resto de la población femenina, ni tampoco están en las mismas condiciones que los varones discapacitados. A pesar de que la política acerca de la integración sociolaboral que se está desarrollando para favorecer y mejorar el nivel de las personas que se encuentran en una situación social y laboral desfavorecida, la vida del mencionado colectivo es todavía muy difícil y sufre frecuentemente marginación de todos los tipos.El presente trabajo estriba en observar empíricamente las experiencias que están relacionadas con las cuestiones laborales de mujeres con discapacidad. Para ello, se han entrevistado a 120 mujeres con algún tipo de discapacidad física, entre 25 y 54 años de edad, con el objetivo de encontrar sus distintas vivencias relacionadas con el ámbito sociolaboral. Al conocer mejor la realidad circunstancial de estas mujeres no sólo se favorece la sensibilización de la población general, sino que se contribuye también a la aplicación de una política de intervención sociolaboral y educativa del colectivo de una forma más adecuada y según sus necesidades.Palabras clave: mujer, discapacidad, empleo, desigualdad.
INTRODUCCIÓNDiscapacidad y desigualdad no son lo mismo para todas las personas. No es igual para hombres y mujeres, pues hombres y mujeres no estamos en numerosos aspectos de la vida en situación complementaria y equilibrada.
