This study generally aims to develop VideoScribe-based learning media to improve the ability in writing descriptive text in English subjects. The development model used in this study is a combination of Borg and Gall development research steps, and the design of 4D-Thiagarajan learning model includes initial research and information gathering, planning stages, design stages, development stages, revision, and final product stages. The techniques of data collection in this study were carried out through indirect communications and test. Data collection tools used was questionnaires, observation’s sheet, and performance tests. The results showed that the design of instructional media development in this study consisted of (1) The design of the development of learning media was conducted using the modified models Borg and Gall and 4D Thiagarajan. (2) The application of VideoScribe-based learning media through activity as follows a) preparation, b) introduction, d) Evaluation, e) closing. (3) After applying VideoScribe-based learning media to improve students’ ability on writing Descriptive Text in English subjects and conducted pretest and posttest, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' ability in writing Descriptive Text before and after the use of learning media.
The research aims to reveal the factual design and conceptual design of the preparation of career guidance programs at Pontianak 3 State Senior High School. Sixty twelve grade science students and two guidance and counseling teachers were also the subjects of the survey. Quantitative data were obtained using questionnaires as main data and interviews as additional data. The results of data processing show that most of the assessment needs have been carried out in a high category. However, the response of the guidance and counseling (BK) teacher stated that there were still weaknesses in the factual model of the preparation of the BK program in the field of career guidance including the principal, homeroom teacher and subject teacher had not been involved in the preparation of the BK program. So this finding is the basis for the preparation of the conceptual design of career guidance programs, that the involvement of principals, homerooms and subject teachers has been apparent in the process of developing a career guidance program.
Recently the demand on teacher’s profesionalism is one of the most important agenda in our National Education System. Based on the regulation mode by government about the National Standard of Education, it forces every parties involved in educational system to accelerate the improvement the quality of learning and education the aims are done through preparing and improving the teachers’ skill professionally and also by managing the educational supporting elements. In improving the Elementary School teacher professionalism, the Departement of Education has done this by preparing Elementary School teacher competency based as the guideline. It is also used for measuring the competency level the teacher has. Morever it can be used as guidance and improvement of the teacher’s profesionalism. This study aims to share learning media using Canva and to find out student responses. This type of research is research using the 4-D development example developed by S. Thiagarajan using 4 stages, namely: the definition stage (Define), the planning stage (Design), the development stage (Develop), the dissemination stage (Disseminate). The research sample was class XII students totaling 38 students. Research instruments include questionnaires and needs analysis in this study using observation, interviews and questionnaires. The technique used in the analysis of this research data is quantitative descriptive analysis. Learning media using Canva can increase student learning motivation. The use of this media is very effective, both offline and online. The development of Canva learning media is also based on phenomena in the field, namely that there has not been development of learning media using Canva for use at MAN 1 Pontianak, as a result it is necessary to develop learning media using Canva that are valid and practical. The purpose of this study is to share learning media using Canva which is used at MAN 1 Pontianak. It is hoped that this learning media can be used by teachers, especially guidance and counseling teachers for learning in advanced study material classes.
<p>Research aims to find out: (1) context of learning outcome assessment system, (2) input evaluation of the results assessment system, (3) component of the assessment system implementation process, (4) product learning outcomes assessment system. This study includes evaluation research with the CIPP M\model (context, input, process, product) with a qualitative and quantitative approach and using qualitative descriptive analysis methods. Data collection techniques used are (1) questionnaires, (2) observation, (3) interviews and (4) documentation. Data analysis techniques for quantitative data are (1) editing, (2) coding, and (3) tabulating. For qualitative data are: (1) data reduction, (2) presentation of data, and (3) draw conclusions. Results of the study: (1) the target of assessing learning outcome in PJOK subjects in Ketapang Junior High School is still lacking, such as in the assessment instrument between friends, journal, projects. (2) preparation of the semester program is not prepared a special time for daily tests. In the preparation of the RPP which small teachers were still not included in the problem text, key answers, and assessment guidelines. (3) the assessment process is not in accordance with the time specified, the teacher has not optimally discussed midterm exam questions. (4) reports on the assessment of student learning outcomes include affective, cognitive and psychomotor aspects, as well as the report, contains descriptive notes that are useful for parent and a follow up in efforts to improve the learning process in general. The assessment system of learning outcomes in PJOK subjects in Ketapang Junior High School is in accordance with the 2013 curriculum assessment guidelines. In the implementation of the assessment, it is expected that the participation of principals, supervisors and relevant agencies, in order to provide technical guidance to teachers in the assessment process so that the assessment process is carried out maximum in accordance with the 2013 curriculum.</p>
