Perubahan iklim sebagai salah satu permasalahan global yang juga menjadi salah satu agenda Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Perubahan iklim menjadi isu penting karena memiliki dampak yang cukup signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan, seperti perubahan pola musim, peningkatan kerawanan bencana alam, dan sebagainya. Perubahan iklim dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya peningkatan emisi CO2 dari permukaan bumi. Peningkatan emisi CO2 memicu penigkatan suhu permukaan bumi ynag berdampak pada perubahan iklim global. Peningkatan emisi CO2 sangat dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas manusia di permukaan bumi, seperti kegiatan industri dan transportasi yang juga terkait dengan aspek ekonomi. GDP per kapita sebagai salah aspek untuk mengukur pertumbuhan ekonomi yang dapat menunjukkan sektor ekonomi domain dalam suatu negara. Pertumbuhan ekonomi ditinjau dari GDP per kapita dan perubahan iklim ditinjau dari emisi CO2 dimungkinkan memiliki keterkaitan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara GDP per kapita dan emisi CO2 dengan studi kasus negara-negara di Asia Tenggara secara temporal tahun 1980–2014. Metode yang digunkan dalam penelitian ini berupa visualisasi spasio-temporal dan analisis statistik. Data GDP per kapita dan emisi CO2 divisualisasikan secara spasio-temporal menggunakan peta dan grafik. Digunakan scatter plot dan analisis regresi untuk mengetahui pengaruh GDP per kapita terhadap emisi CO2. Uji korelasi statistik Spearman’s correlation digunakan untuk mengetahui kekuatan korelasi GDP per kapita dan emisi CO2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang kuat dengan nilai R2 sebesar 0,5319 antara GDP per kapita terhadap emisi CO2. Uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya nilai korelasi yang kuat dan bersifat positif sebesar 0,729. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terhadap pengaruh dan korelasi kuat antara GDP per kapita dan emisi CO2, sehingga peningkatan GDP per kapita menyebabkan peningkatan nilai emisi CO2.
