The world has experienced tremendous growth in the technology sector. However, this growth received a dent with the deadly COVID-19 development. The development meant a temporary shutdown of institutions in most countries forcing students to study from home. Thus, remote learning became one of the most popular ways of educating students, offering a flexible learning environment. This chapter focuses on the remote learning for young students and explores various digital tools that can support the remote learning process. In addition, a detailed discussion will be carried out on the distinction between remote learning and face-to-face learning. The discussion will also consider the advantages and disadvantages of this learning style for young students, teachers, and parents. Lastly, a comparison will be made on the remote learning practices in developed and developing countries and the challenges that students in the developing countries come across when engaged in this learning format.

The global economy has expanded tremendously in recent years. However, this growth was hampered by the deadly COVID-19 outbreak, which forced countries to confront economic ramifications at both the micro and macro levels. The pandemic has posed a challenge to both producers and consumers, and businesses have been compelled to change their management styles for survival. Despite the return of the global market to normalcy, there remain questions over whether firms should continue to apply the same management strategies employed during COVID-19 or revisit their management practices in light of the post-COVID-19 climate. To address these issues, this study explores major global developments in entrepreneurial activity and economic growth in the aftermath of COVID-19, with the goal of assisting organizations in adapting and reacting during pandemic times to ensure long-term survival. Finally, the author proposes best practices for businesses to make rational decisions as well as an exhaustive review of global economies and markets to forecast their economic well-being post COVID-19.

Objectives: To investigate the impact of audio visual (AV) aids on improving creative writing skills and to assess the effectiveness of AV aids in improving students learning outcomes. Study Design: Cross Sectional Quantitative Study. Setting: Hira Secondary School, Peshawar. Period: Sep 2020. Material & Methods: We studied individuals and phenomenon in their natural settings hence, we chose quantitative approaches (Creswell, 2005). Then a sample size of 30 students was taken from the population that was 8th Grade students and was 20% of the target population Sample was collected through simple random sampling technique. The data was collected by distributing questionnaire among the study population who were shown some AV aids in order to improve their writing skills like accuracy, grammar and spelling skills etc. Results: About 38% of the study participants strongly agreed that the AV aids play a prominent role in developing writing skills in students and only 10% disagreed with the statement. Around 52% of the participants strongly agreed with the fact that visual representation of any material clicks the whole context of that material in one single word whereas none of the students disagreed to this fact. Conclusion: We concluded that despite being used to some extent by several teachers, using AV aids in improving writing skills still does not have enough attention as it would deserve, especially considering its benefits it may bring to developing writing skills.
