ABSTRACTThe aim of this investigation was to study the effect of co-culture system on the in vitro production of embryos from vitrified matured oocytes. The oocytes were aspirated from ovaries collected from the local slaughterhouse from the city of Chachapoyas, then they were matured in vitro. Next, they were vitrified and fertilized in vitro with selected sperm. Finally they were cultured in a co-culture system. The production of blastocysts was 24.9, 9.9 y 9.6%, in control, culture system and without co-culture system, respectively.
