Solar energy is one of the renewable energy that gets more attention from many countries. Solar photo voltaic (PV) takes the right position to get the maximum energy yield. The study was conducted by comparison of performance with two methods of tracking the sun with one axis and two axes by using ANFIS control (Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System). The solar tracking system is a system that operates on the sun by using a light sensor and controls the photovoltaic to always perpendicular to the sun by changing the pitch and yaw axis of the sun tracing properties. LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) is one of the light sensors whose resistance changes depending on the intensity of incoming light. Direct current (DC )motor is used as a PV drive panel in a solar tracking system. A two-axis solar tracking system has a greater power output than a tracking system with a single photovoltaic panel that does not use a tracking system (fixed).
⎯ Piston is one of the important parts in the combustion process in a diesel engine, it consists of two namely the piston head and connecting rod, where the piston head consists of three parts, namely the piston crown, piston rings, and piston pins. This paper wants to prove which is more effective in modifying the TCC piston crown shape on a four-Stroke one-cylinder diesel engine fueled with B-30 in terms of noise. To measure noise, several experiments were carried out. One way is to use an application that can help make measurement easier is to use the simulation. The Simulation can measure the level of noise by using the tools in an application the same as in reality. The piston area is very influential on the combustion process, with the greater piston area, the resulting explosion is greater which results in and produces a high pressure also it is directly proportional to the noise level. After everything is measured, then we compare it with the engine's performance and give maximum results between the level of noise with engine performance. The result is using a piston case 4 (+1) which has a larger area experiencing the highest noise level using B30 Diesel Fuel or High-Speed Diesel (HSD) Fuel. Under load conditions, with a 50% load, the noise level on piston +1 (Case 4) experiences the highest noise level using B30 Diesel Fuel or High-Speed Diesel (HSD) Fuel.
Pada saat ini keberadaan energi fosil semakin hari semakin menipis, untuk itu konsep Renewable Energy diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi sebagai sumber energi alternatif. Salah satunya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikro Hidro (PLTMH) menggunakan Turbin air crossflow. Turbin ini sangat sederhana dan mudah perawatannya, begitupula Head dan debit yang tidak terlalu besar, sehingga cocok digunakan untuk memanfaatkan saluran irigasi di daerah pegunungan sebagai sumber energi listrik alternatif untuk penerangan jalan desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan turbin air breastshot cross flow dengan diameter rotor D = 500 mm, sudu terbuat dari separuh pipa PVC Æ = 4” dengan variasi jumlah sudu 12 dan 6. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jumlah rotor 12 blade mempunyai performance yang lebih baik dibanding 6 blade, yaitu Power 75,07 Watt; Torsi = 3,53 Nm; dan efisiensi = 31,42 % pada putaran 261 rpm
