O objetivo do presente estudo foi mapear as condições psicossociais e a qualidade de vida de universitários da moradia estudantil da Universidade de Brasília. Oitenta e sete voluntários com média de idade de vinte e dois anos participaram da pesquisa. Foram utilizados questionários auto-aplicáveis sobre a situação socio-demográfica, eventos de vida, uso de álcool e drogas e comportamento suicida. Estudantes dependents de recursos institucionais, em fases iniciais de curso, a maioria vinda de outros estados, apresentaram pródromos que indicaram ansiedade, depressão e dificuldades em relação à ajuda. Comportamentos de risco apareceram como forma de solução de problemas relacionados à adaptação ao novo contexto. Os programas assistenciais existentes na universidade não conseguem cobrir toda a complexa demanda. Sugerem-se ações emergenciais para que os programas existentes sejam ampliados e a criação de novos serviços para garantir a permanência do universitário até o final do curso com melhor qualidade de vida.
Neste artigo discute-se a experiência de implantação do apoio matricial em saúde mental, prática que visa ampliar a resolubilidade e produzir maior responsabilização pelas situações de saúde mental na Saúde da Família (SF). Objetiva-se analisar a implantação do apoio matricial entre CAPS III e equipes de SF. Trata-se de uma pesquisa-ação cujos instrumentos foram os grupos operativos de reflexão e a resposta a questionários. Realizaram-se grupos com profissionais da SF, do CAPS e dos dois serviços conjuntamente. No que tange à SF, os resultados apontaram dificuldades na abordagem dos casos de saúde mental e a coexistência dos modos asilar e psicossocial nas práticas de cuidado. Em relação ao CAPS, indicaram a importância do fortalecimento do trabalho em equipe. Conclui-se que há necessidade de fortalecer a saúde mental na atenção primária à saúde, com investimentos na educação permanente, no estabelecimento de indicadores e na integração entre CAPS e SF.

É destacada a importância de envolver a SF no que se refere à clínica da crise.
O objetivo é abordar as responsabilizações do profissional de referência relatadas como geradores de sofrimento psíquico: vínculo com usuário, organização do trabalho e suporte institucional. Trata-se de uma pesquisa-ação realizada em Centros de Atenção Psicossocial de Goiânia - GO. Participaram 22 profissionais de diferentes áreas em grupos operativos de reflexão, e os dados foram examinados pela análise de conteúdo. É destacada a importância da dimensão clínica e do suporte institucional.
Este artigo é resultado de uma dissertação de mestrado que procurou caracterizar as crises psicóticas por meio da fala de pacientes e de seus familiares que passaram pelas suas primeiras crises, baseada na literatura e pesquisas recentes sobre intervenção precoce nas psicoses (McGorry & Edwards, 2002), nos estudos sobre crise (DiTomasso & Kovnat, 1995; Miermont e cols., 1994; Tavares, 2004) e sobre família (Addington e cols., 2005). Os dados obtidos foram trabalhados de acordo com a análise de conteúdo (Bardin, 1988; Franco, 2003). Constatou-se que as crises psicóticas, embora questionáveis do ponto de vista diagnóstico, se manifestaram conforme a literatura corrente (CID-10, 1993; McGorry & Edwards, 2002). Ansiedade, medo, isolamento social e desconfiança foram os pródromos identificados, e alucinação e delírio, os sintomas recorrentes.
