32.35% female (n = 11/34) were achieved. They are writing images reports in medical centers 88.6% (n = 31/34) but less in hospital. Statistical inference was noted a significant associations between qualification, work area, workplace, and the personal efforts which give the participant ability to succeed on writing images report (p-value = 0.001, 0.000, 0.000 and 0.016) respectively. 32% of the respondents wrote images reports increases than 5000. More than half of the respondents didn't wrote any wrong report and this was revealed a significant correlation with an experience p-value ˂ 0.05. Chest X-ray considered the highest reports ≥ 500 (32%). CONCLUSION: This study explores the significant role that DRTSs are making to image reporting in KSA, although there is a big concerns to sustain this vital role.
There is a rising interest in the Quality of Life (QoL) research in the Arabian countries. The study aimed to analyze the association between the health satisfaction, environment, age, and the physical functions to determine the quality of life among adults living in charity homes in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The participants recruited for the study were adults, living in charity homes in Jeddah to analyze the results through a quantitative research design. The sample size included in the study was 136, which included the participants from different charity homes in Jeddah. SF-36 was appropriately used to examine the health status of the participants. WHOQOL-BRIEF questionnaire was used for the collection of primary data at the time of interviews. The statistically significant results have been evaluated through the independent t-test between the groups, based on the characteristics of the participants for average SF-36 domain scores. However, ANOVA test evaluated insignificant results on the basis of educational level as the p-value obtained is greater than the level of significance (0.850>0.05). Positive responses for all four domains of SF-36 instrument have been obtained, which recommended that further improvements in the charity homes is required to provide the awareness regarding the security and medication facilities.
The safety of the reproductive organs has a great positive impact on the human psyche, so early and accurate diagnosis of scrotal disorders by ultrasound was one of the necessities that puts the individual in the correct path of treatment. This study was conducted to evaluate the significance of ultrasound imaging technology in the diagnosis of varicocele and its relationship with sperm characteristics through semen analysis. We retrospectively reviewed a total of 281 male patients who underwent scrotum ultrasound at King Abdul-Aziz University Hospital-Radiology Department between 2017 and 2019 with age range of (11-76) years. Ultrasound result showed 119 (42.3%) had varicocele. Semen analysis was performed for 143 patients and the results showed a significant correlation between sperm characteristics and varicocele disorder (p < 0.001). Imaging of the scrotum by ultrasound is of great importance in diagnosing various andrology diseases, including varicocele, which have clear effects on sperm count and motility.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
