Sejak tahun 2017, Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) telah dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Dharma Karya Universitas Terbuka (UT). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan GLS di SD Dharma Karya, untuk menganalisa faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksaaan GLS, dan mendeskripsikan tahap GLS yang diterapkan disana. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Fokus penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas IV-1 di SD Dharma Karya UT. Peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas IV-1 telah melaksanakan GLS sesuai jadwal, siswa sudah mulai menyukai membaca, namun buku yang tersedia masih sangat kurang sehingga pengalaman membaca siswa sangat terbatas. Faktor pendukung yang nampak adalah bahwa kepala sekolah mempunyai komitmen yang baik untuk melaksanakan kegiatan GLS, kemudian guru-guru dan siswa serta komponen sekolah yang lain juga menunjang untuk suksesnya kegiatan GLS di SD Dharma Karya. This community service program aims to improve the digital literacy skills of teachers in Kota Tangerang Selatan through read aloud training. This program was carried out using training method based on needs analysis of primary teachers in Kota Tangerang Selatan. The read aloud training through digital library consisting of four stages, namely: preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The training was conducted online through the Zoom platform. Participants of this program consist of 58 teachers from 12 primary schools in Kota Tangerang Selatan. The instrument of evaluation used in this program was Kirkpatrick’s training evaluation model (level 1). Questionnaires of evaluation were distributed through google form. The evaluation data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this training were the improvement of teachers’ knowledge regarding read aloud, the development of teachers’ skills to use read aloud technic properly for teaching, and the improvement of teachers’ ability to access digital library and to use it in teaching learning process.
The aims of this research are to describe: 1) participants’ satisfaction with active listening training in reaction level, and 2) the effectiveness of active listening training in learning level. This evaluation research used the Kirkpatrick model (4 levels). The research objects who were involved in active listening training were teachers from first to sixth grades in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Hidayatul Athfal. Data collection was through questionnaires which were distributed before and after training. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. The evaluation results show that participants were satisfied with active listening training.
