Kota Palopo, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, di bagian timur berupa dataran rendah terdiri dari endapan aluvial yang dapat berperan sebagai akuifer air tanah. Untuk menjaga ketersediaan air tanah secara berkelanjutan, perlu memetakan potensi air tanah Kota Palopo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi akuifer air tanah Kota Palopo dan memetakan distribusi potensi air tanah. Metode yang digunakan adalah geolistrik konfigurasi Schlumberger dan pemetaan isoresistivitas menggunakan teknik interpolasi metode Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW). Lapisan akuifer yang mengandung air tanah memiliki nilai resistivitas 0,1 – 183 Ωm pada kedalaman 5 – 60 m yang meliputi 6,2 – 11,5% dari luas Kota Palopo dengan material berupa endapan aluvial seperti lumpur dan pasir. Daerah yang memiliki potensi air tanah terdapat di beberapa lokasi pengukuran seperti Kecamatan Wara, Wara Selatan, Wara Utara, Wara Timur, Bara, Telluwanua, dan Sendana.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui didaerah mana saja pada wilayah Mungkajang yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar alam bagi para pelajar yang mendekatkan keilmuan pada ilmu geografi atau ilmu kebumian. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendeskripsian setiap lokasi yang dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar alam. Hasil penilitian ini menunjukkan tiga lokasi pembelajaran dialam membentang diwilayah Mungkajang, setiap lokasi memiliki deskripsi lokasi atau deskripsi tentang keadaan fisik pada lokasi tersebut. Deskripsi yang dilakukan ialah keadaan Morfologi, Geologi dan Hidrologi disetiap lokasi. Ketiga lokasi tersebut adalah Kelurahan Murante, Kelurahan Kambo dan Kelurahan Latuppa. Dijadikannya sebagai sumber belajar alam karena setiap lokasi ini memiliki sifat fisik yang dapat mewakili kawasan wilayah mungkajang. Alam sebagai sumber belajar memiliki manfaat yang lebih banyak baik terhadap pelajar atau siapa yang menjadi pengajar tersebut. Teori yang diterima dapat secara langsung dibuktikan dilapangan. Dan pelajar tidak hanya lagi dibatasi oleh ruang untuk sebuah pemahaman tentang keadaan bumi yang sebenarnya.
Belajar dan memahami logika koding dapat dilakukan sejak anak usia dini utamanya usia siswa sekolah dasar. Proses untuk menumbuhkan minat siswa untuk belajar koding dapat menggunakan aplikasi yang sederhana dalam permainan game. Tujuan dari pengabdian pada masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan pengetahuan koding pada siswa yang masih menempuh sekolah dasar, memberikan pemahaman cara bekerja suatu program dan mengimplementasikan koding dalam bentuk permainan game. Metode pelaksanaan diawali dengan wawancara dengan pihak Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Lalebbata Kota Palopo sebagai mitra. Wawancara ini untuk mengetahui minat dan pemahaman peserta yang akan mengikuti pelatihan dan menentukan aplikasi yang cocok belajar koding terutama bagi siswa. Pemilihan aplikasi yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan Scratch. Aplikasi strach ini dipilih, karena penggunaan dalam belajar koding tidak perlu membuat koding dengan mengetikkan perintah. Koding dilakukan dengan menggunakan blok, semua perintah yang digunakan sudah dikemas dalam blok-blok. Koding yang dibuat disusun berdasarkan blok – blok yang mempunyai arti dan fungsi serta dapat dijalankan. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini, peserta dapat memahami logika koding, penggunaan logika keputusan dan logika perulangan. Siswa mampu membuat logika koding dan membuat game sederhana dengan menggunakan aplikasi Scratch
The purpose of the research, identifying geographical conditions and potential tourist attractions, the social conditions of the surrounding community, the prospect of ecotourism development. Methods in this research qualitative approach with survey research with geospatial and SWOT-based geography review approach. The results of this study produced 6 thematic maps including topographic maps, geological maps, land type maps, slope slopes, tourist attraction distribution maps, and distribution maps of public facilities by containing information about the most influential geographical conditions in supporting the development of mungkajang area as an ecotourism area. Potential tourist attractions owned by the Mungkajang area there are 9 attractions scattered in the Mungkajang area by offering its attractions Latuppa area offers waterfall and bathing tours in the river stream, Kambo area offers tourism and bathing, murante area bathing waterboom and Mungkajang area offers camping and shelter attractions in addition to tourist attractions in Mungkajang area equipped with various public facilities available. in tourist attractions and those outside of tourist attractions in the Mungkajang area. The social conditions of the community include people who live in the location of the Mungkajang area have the same understanding of ecotourism, approval of the development of Mungkajang ecotourism, interest in the development of Mungkajang ecotourism. Mungkajang area development strategy as ecotourism with a geographical review approach that supports among location factors, relief factors, climate factors, biogeography factors, soil factors, water factors, geological factors, population factors, attractiveness factors, infrastructure factors, accommodation factors and facility service factors, while from the results of SWOT analysis of strategies that must be carried out to maintain the sustainability of natural wealth, involving the community, Working with government agencies, maximizing information technology, offering tourism potential different from others, providing complete facilities as needed by tourists and building good cooperation between the government, private sector and the public in the utilization of SDA that has the potential as a tourist attraction.
