The Dragačevo Trumpet Festival (DTF) in Guča (the Republic of Serbia) is a unique competition of folk brass bands in the world and one of the most important events of overall national creativity and cultural amateurism in Serbia. The article delivers the results of a questionnaire research conducted during the 50th anniversary of the DTF in Guča in August 2010. The results were based on 300 questionnaires. There are two purposes of the research: to identify the underlying dimensions of motivation for visitors attending ethno music festivals, using a factor analysis, and to explore the differences between attitudes of the respondents of different gender and age structure. The factor analysis generated four factors: Festival Perception and learning, Exploration of Festival Program and Atmosphere, Psychophysical Welfare, and Socialization. The respondents rated the factor Exploration of Festival Program and Atmosphere the highest, followed by Festival Perception and learning, Psychophysical Welfare, and Socialization. The results of the t test showed that female respondents rated Psychophysical Welfare and Socialization significantly higher compared to male respondents. Analysis of variance tests demonstrated statistically different respondents' ratings of extracted factors with regard to age group of the respondents.

The research is aimed at determining the attitudes of the local population with regard to the organization, realization and economic importance of cultural events.
Industrial heritage represents a specific type of heritage provided by human societes which emerged as a product of industrialization when certain objects were abandoned. Environmentalists and people employed in the tourism industry implement the idea of revitalization on this locations and give new functions to abandoned factories, which is crucial for their later development. There are many industrial zones where tourism can be promoted as a useful instrument of regional restructuring and economic development. Thus, the transformation of industrial heritage in the Rhur area (Germany) is presented in this study, where significant structural changes occurred due to the decline of the mining and metallurgical industry. Key sites used as an example of this transformation of industrial heritage into tourist attractions are located in the central part of the Ruhr area, stretching across the Emscher park. The development effects (environmental, economic, socio-cultural) of industrial heritage tourism and their implementation through certain recultivation procedures within the Ruhr area are also discussed in the paper. All this stand as a good example of sustainable development, where tourism served as an instrument of revitalization and conservation of industrial heritage. This positive approach and experience from Germany could be applied to similar areas and regions across European continent.
ABSTRACT:The development of tourism in protected areas is a particular challenge for the tourism business and the activity of nature conservation. The leading criteria for sustainable tourism in protected areas emphasize the importance of the adoption of certain principles of care, long-term planning and management that integrates nature protection and tourism. In this respect, the paper analyzes their importance in the case of Special Nature Reserve »Gornje Podunavlje« in Vojvodina. After acquiring the status of a special nature reserve, talk about the importance of this area to the tourism of Sombor and Apatin, where it is located, has increased. This trend follows the design of educational and tourist tracks, starting and running events as well as starting tourism businesses in rural households. There could be multiple benefits of this for the local communities.
The aim of this paper is to develop a new perspective on urban tourist motivations and demotivation's by applying the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) model in order to better understand how tourists make decisions about which destinations to visit. Authors discovered that most important factor within city break travel is internal force, followed by the external force and least important is demotivation. The paper argues that the results indicate the value of applying the AHP model to understand the role and importance both of push and pull factors and demotivators in urban tourism destination choice.
