O objetivo do trabalho é identificar e analisar as publicações sobre turismo acessível para pessoas com deficiências nos periódicos de turismo do Brasil. Metodologicamente a pesquisa se caracteriza como exploratória e descritiva e foi realizada por meio de pesquisa de estado da arte e pesquisa sistemática com abordagem qualitativa. Foram identificados 25 periódicos brasileiros de turismo para análise dos dados os quais, juntos, somaram um total de 5816 artigos publicados em todos os seus volumes e edições. Desses, apenas 45 artigos abordam o tema em questão. Como resultados foram identificadas 12 temáticas referentes às abordagens dos artigos encontrados, assim como verificou-se uma maior incidência de artigos publicados sobre o tema no ano de 2016 e na Revista Turismo Visão e Ação. Além disso, verificou-se que a maioria dos artigos aborda apenas um tipo de deficiência assim como a deficiência de uma maneira geral e identificou-se a predominância feminina tanto na autoria quanto na coautoria dos artigos. Apesar da incipiência de estudos sobre o tema foi possível perceber diversas abordagens envolvendo as pessoas com deficiências, demonstrando que o que falta é percebê-las, de fato, como turistas.
O objetivo deste é o de analisar a hospitalidade do evento III Encontro Olho de Sogra, na percepção de seus participantes com deficiência visual. Quanto aos objetivos específicos: apontar o entendimento dos participantes sobre o tema hospitalidade; averiguar os motivos que os levaram a participar do Encontro; e elencar os locais visitados mais hospitaleiros. Metodologicamente o estudo caracteriza-se como sendo de natureza descritiva e exploratória, efetuada por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e aplicação de questionários com perguntas abertas em uma abordagem qualitativa. Os principais resultados apontam: (i) o entendimento dos sujeitos sobre hospitalidade coloca o ser-humano como agente central, associando ao bemreceber, bem-acolher e o respeito à sua individualidade; (ii) os principais motivos de participação foram diversão, integração, conhecer novas pessoas e o usufruir da acessibilidade disponibilizada pelo Encontro; e (iii) os locais de maior hospitalidade foram: Confeitaria, CTG, Hostel, Biblioteca Pública e Restaurante. Foi possível perceber que há turistas com deficiência visual visitando Pelotas e que a cidade necessita estar preparada para acolher essas pessoas tanto estrutural quanto atitudinalmente.
Considerando que o turismo envolve deslocamento, encontros, uma série de contemplações de paisagens e atrativos e fornecimento e recebimento constantes de informações, uma parcela da população, tais como as pessoas com deficiências, é lesada em sua participação turística. O objetivo deste trabalho é sistematizar as publicações sobre comunicação turística acessível a pessoas com deficiências. Com base em um estudo exploratório, este artigo realizou revisão bibliométrica e sistemática integrativa da literatura. Para tal, foi empregado o descritor “accessible tourism communication” nas bases de dados Scopus e Web of Science. As buscas viabilizaram compilar um escopo de 13 artigos. Os indicadores bibliométricos apontaram que o estudo da temática é recente e escasso, visto que os artigos foram publicados nos últimos 13 anos e que a dispersão espacial dos pesquisadores se concentra na Europa. Por meio de revisão sistemática integrativa averiguou-se que: (i) há duas abordagens nos artigos: comunicação turística acessível on-line (61,54%) e comunicação turística acessível não on-line (38,46%); (ii) apenas 15% dos artigos fazem menção a deficiências específicas. Concluiu-se que a união da comunicação turística acessível on-line com a não on-line é a melhor maneira de auxiliar as pessoas com deficiências em seus planejamentos e experiências turísticas.
O objetivo proposto desta pesquisa é analisar a hospitalidade da cidade de Pelotas/RS na percepção das pessoas com deficiência visual e física (cadeirantes). Metodologicamente, esta pesquisa caracteriza-se por ser de natureza exploratória e descritiva, realizada por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica com abordagem qualitativa em que foram aplicados questionários com os sujeitos da pesquisa por e-mails e redes sociais Facebook e Whatsapp. Como principais resultados encontrados, identificou-se que o entendimento sobre hospitalidade de todos os sujeitos está relacionado ao bem receber-acolher. Para as pessoas com deficiência visual a questão do respeito com o visitante prevalece enquanto os sujeitos cadeirantes acrescentam a relação com a acessibilidade. No que tange à concepção de hospitalidade urbana e cidade hospitaleira, apesar das dimensões em comum, as falas das pessoas com deficiência visual estão mais relacionadas à identificação e envolvimento ativo do ser humano na cidade, enquanto as pessoas cadeirantes trazem à tona dimensões de acessibilidade física. Já no que diz respeito a Pelotas ser uma cidade hospitaleira, os sujeitos cadeirantes divergem sobre esta concepção apontando a (falta de) acessibilidade física como principal motivo enquanto todos os sujeitos com deficiência visual consideram Pelotas hospitaleira. Com os resultados desta pesquisa foram sistematizadas dimensões da cidade hospitaleira para pessoas com deficiências além de fomentar reflexões sobre hospitalidade e pessoas com distintos tipos de deficiência.
