Cases of bat deaths associated with plants.-Merzlikin, I.-Presented here are the accidents that happened with bats on plants having thorns (Prunus spinosa, Robinia pseudoacacia), spines (Arctium sp., Ancistrocactus megarhizus), and sticky buds (Aesculus hippocastanum). Bats clung on thorns and spines of plants by their wings, and stuck to sticky buds of horse chestnut and could not get rid of. Bats have begun to face new problems for themselves related to the elements introduced by man into their habitat (including cacti) or unnatural shelters (buildings). K e y w o r d s : bats, bat death, mortality, accidents.
The purpose of this work is to prove the expediency and efficiency of the development of infrastructure funds for the attraction of private equity for the infrastructure projects implementation. Statistics, readiness of institutional investors to invest money in infrastructure, the key risks which exist in the country in this sphere are studied by the authors. The need for the reliable professional partner who could be presented by infrastructure funds is revealed. The authors consider the benefits of infrastructure funds for the attraction of capitals from private investors, for providing them with guarantees and for the increase in their activity in the market. As the predictable result the infrastructure funds are capable to provide missing financing for the development of infrastructure of the country, regions, municipal units. The conclusions received by the authors within their research can be used when developing economic policy of the country, when developing investment policy and the strategy of the country, when developing development programs of infrastructure of regions of the Russian Federation, the certain cities and regions of the country.
gion).-Merzlikin, I.-The list of mammals registered in the Mykhailivska Tsilyna includes 40 species of 17 families and 7 orders. In recent years 20 mammal species were constantly recorded there, 6 species periodically visit that area, and 2 synanthropic species inhabit Mykhailivska Tsilyna territory in a warm period. Twenty species of mammals reproduce within the reserve: 4 Insectivora species, 1 Lagomorpha species (Lepus europaeus), 11 Rodentia species, 3 Carnivora species and 1 Artiodactyla species (Capreolus capreolus). At present, 14 species of small mammals inhabit the steppe reserve area. Some steppe species (Crocidura suaveolens, Spermophilus suslicus, Allactaga major, Cricetulus migratorius) are now extinct from the Mykhailivska Tsilyna territory. Among the species listed in the Red Data Book of Ukraine, only Sicista severtzovi and Cricetus cricetus inhabit the territory of reserve.
Distribution of the termite Reticulitermes lucifugus (Isoptera) and the specifics of its invasion in Ukraine. -I. R. Merzlikin. -The only known termite species occurring in Ukraine is the Mediterranean termite Reticulitermes lucifugus Rossi, 1792 (Rhinotermitidae). The description of currently known finds of this species in six administrative regions of Ukraine is given in this article along with a generalised map of distribution. At the present time, the species occurs in islet forests and artificial pine plantations of the Lover Dnipro region and also in ravines and roadsides. Termite infection threats to buildings in Ukraine is very real and in recent years has become more common. This article presents the development of the species' invasion from the Black Sea area (from Odesa and Mykolaiv) to the north-east direction through Zaporizhia and Dnipro cities. Four finds of termite settlement in north-east Ukraine are described -in Sumy city (three cases) and Hlybne village, Krasnopillya Raion, Sumy Oblast (one case). The first place of the species' discovery in this area was in Hlybne in summer 2013, when in a private home tables, the cupboard and commode were affected by termites. In this summer, the residents of the house moved here to live from Bashkortostan, Russia. Over time, all the furniture became unusable and was thrown away. The species of termites in those furniture remained unclear. Another record locality was a flat in Sumy city on the eighth floor of a 12-storey building, where on 15 of July 2015 termites and their nesting chambers were found behind a wall mirror, which was bought in a supermarket by its owner 9 months before. The insects were also found on adjoining floors above. The termites were next discovered in late April 2016 in a private home in a woodbased wall mirror that was purchased in the same supermarket. The fourth termite find was reported from a flat in a 9-storey building. Its owner purchased a large wall mirror in the same supermarket. The wooden base of the mirror was struck by termites. All records of termites were located in different parts of the city. These new finds expand the boundaries of the species' distribution in Ukraine by 270 km to the north.
The purpose of this paper is to improve the methodological provisions for managing the development of the investment potential of a construction company. As a result of the study, the characteristics of the main components of the investment potential of a construction company were determined, factors influencing its condition were identified and systematized. The key indicators and elements used in the study, including objectives, resources, abilities, opportunities and results, allow characterizing private potentials and provide maximum accuracy and reliability of the assessment. On this basis, a system for assessing the state, forecasting and managing the development of the investment potential of a construction company has been developed.
