Resumo O nitrogênio waste, que é chamado assim por ser mais impuro, devido à existência de uma porcentagem aproximada de 2% mais de oxigênio no mesmo, utilizado exclusivamente no processo de "Slag Splash" na Aciaria, possui um contrato fechado de volume para fornecimento (7.000 Nm³/h, à pressão de 30 bar), o qual estava sendo utilizada aproximadamente a metade do mesmo (3.500 Nm³/h). Como no processo produtivo da CSA, é utilizado o nitrogênio de baixa pressão (16 bar) em grande quantidade (21.600 Nm³/h, sendo aproximadamente 5.600 Nm³/h acima do contrato de fornecimento), foi feito um projeto para interligar as duas linhas de nitrogênio através de aproximadamente 420 metros de tubulação, com sistema de controle integrado e analisador de oxigênio para garantir a concentração mínima de 1% de oxigênio no Nitrogênio de baixa pressão, devido à necessidade de algumas áreas. Nos primeiros seis meses após implantação, foi contabilizado uma economia de aproximadamente R$4.0 milhões (aproximadamente 3.100 Nm³/h de consumo). Palavras-chave:Nitrogênio; Redução; Custo.
ResumoNo âmbito da inspeção de segurança de caldeiras, a norma regulamentadora NR-13 estabelece a necessidade de um sistema de gerenciamento de integridade estrutural (SGI) com requisitos mínimos para atestar a segurança do equipamento. Entretanto, visando estabelecer um SGI que possibilite maior acompanhamento do equipamento e melhor direcionamento dos reparos instaurou-se um sistema de inspeção com procedimentos mais abrangentes. Esse trabalho apresenta as técnicas de ensaio não destrutivo (END) utilizadas usualmente na inspeção de segurança de NR-13 e novas como o ensaio IRIS (Internal Rotary Inspection System) [1]. As condições estruturais foram comparadas com as recomendadas segundo os códigos de projetos internacionais. Além disso, técnicas de estatística de engenharia de manutenção e projeto foram utilizadas, permitindo quantificar a segurança de operação e programar o momento da intervenção para o reparo. However, aiming a complete Structural Integrity Management (SIM), which could provide the highest quality information that is useful to conduct a repair, a new inspection approach was used. This paper presents non-destructives testing (NDT) that had been used in the safety inspection and new ones like IRIS (Internal Rotary Inspection System) [1]. International standards were used to evaluate the actual condition found during the integrity evaluation. Probability concepts in engineering were also used to assure operational condition of the boiler and planning an up come repair.
Resumo A distribuição de gás de Aciaria, gerado no processo de produção de aço, tem como finalidade que a energia térmica recuperada seja utilizada nos seguintes processos da TKCSA:-Aquecimento dos regeneradores dos Altos Fornos e Planta de PCI através do fornecimento de um Mix Gas composto de gás de Alto Forno, gás de Aciaria e gás natural;-Fornecimento de gás combustível associado ao gás de Alto Forno para as turbinas a gás da Termoelétrica, para que a energia térmica seja convertida em energia mecânica e finalmente em energia elétrica;-Fornecimento de gás combustível para o forno de ignição da Sinterização e os fornos de aquecimento de panelas da Aciaria.-Fornecimento de gás combustível associado ao gás natural para uma caldeira que tem como finalidade a produção de vapor de processo. Sendo um processo extremamente importante dentro do sistema de distribuição de Utilidades e termos como diretriz a redução de custos operacionais e obtenção de benefícios ambientais, foram desenvolvidas várias ações para aumentar a capacidade de distribuição do gás de Aciaria, sendo que tais ações proporcionaram um incremento de 20% na capacidade de distribuição do gás de Aciaria.
