O tratamento envolve desde efetivação cirúrgica a reabilitação fisioterápica.Palavras-chave: Plexo Braquial; Plexo Braquial/lesões; Neuropatias do Plexo Braquial/diagnóstico; Neuropatias do Plexo Braquial/terapia; Transferência de Nervo; Bloqueio Nervoso. ABSTRACTThe brachial plexus is a network of nerve mergers and divisions originating from upper thoracic and cervical nerve roots innervating the shoulder and arm. It is estimated that 10 to 20% of the peripheral nervous system lesions involves the brachial plexus and, 80-90% of these are related to automobile trauma that generates traction on the neck and shoulder. The diagnosis is based on clinical history and physical examination in order to identify the lesion with successive movement limitation, changes in sensitivity and vasomotor functions. In addition, imaging studies. Treatment involves surgical effectuation and the physical therapy rehabilitation.
