Traditional games are the result of past human cultural processes which are rich in local wisdom values. The games are played from generation to generation. They have many benefits, including vehicles and media, to stimulate early childhood development. However, traditional games are slowly starting to be forgotten; children tend to get used to the instant games available on smartphones or devices or other games that can be accessed in the centre of modern games. This habit causes children not to know what traditional games are. This research aimed to describe the existence of traditional games for early age children in Bengkulu. This research employed a literature study method. This study's results are expected to provide awareness to parents, teachers, and the community about the benefits of traditional games in stimulating children's development.
Cattle business is one of the profitable businesses, but its maintenance also requires extra attention. In addition to regular feeding, owning a cattle business is also required to maintain the cleanliness of the enclosure. Therefore, the owner or worker always cleans the cow dung and piles it separately. Many cattle owners throw away or burn the pile of dung, whereas if the cow dung is appropriately processed, it can be used as an excellent organic fertilizer. This activity aims to empower farmers with machine-assisted compost processing training. The method used is a qualitative case study to identify farmers' learning needs. At the same time, the learning methods used in the implementation of empowerment are deliberation, brainstorming, interviews, demonstration and practice. The informants and targets of this empowerment activity are cattle farmers who are members of the Wono Asri 3 Farmer Group, Bendo District, Magetan Regency.
The development of the VUCA Era (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) causes rapid changes with factors that are difficult to control causing the phenomenon of declining literacy due to technological shifts. One of them is the phenomenon of the fading of interest and love for learning the Qur'an experienced by various age groups, ranging from children, adolescents and adults. Parents have difficulty in teaching the Qur'an to children in a fun way. This study aims to grow the ability of parents, enrich teaching methods, and provide practical steps that parents can follow in educating their children to love the Qur'an through Hands On Learning-based learning. The method used in this research is a 4D development model (Define, design, develop, disseminate). Member of the parent forum at PT. Pendidik Muda Indonesia consist of ten members who have early childhood. Quantitative data were obtained from the results of the feasibility test as well as the readability of the material and design. Qualitative data were obtained from the analysis of descriptive questionnaire questions for parents' needs for learning the Qur'an for early childhood. The results of this development research obtained 1) a guide book for parents in learning the Qur'an for early childhood based on hands on learning, 2) the feasibility of the product developed based on the results of the research and the assessment of the validator in the very feasible category. Abstrak: Berkembangnya Era VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, dan Ambiguity) menyebabkan perubahan cepat dengan faktor-faktor yang sulit dikontrol menyebabkan fenomena menurunnya literasi akibat pergeseran teknologi. Salah satunya ialah fenomena lunturnya ketertarikan dan kecintaan terhadap pembelajaran Al-Qur’an yang dialami oleh berbagai kalangan usia, mulai dari anak-anak, remaja maupun dewasa. Orang Tua mengalami kesulitan dalam mengajarkan Al-Qur’an kepada anak dengan cara yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan orang tua, memperkaya metode mengajar, serta memberikan langkah praktis yang dapat diikuti Orang tua dalam mendidik anaknya agar mencintai Al-Qur’an melalui pembelajaran berbasis Hands On Learning. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah model pengembangan 4D (Define, design, develop, disseminate). Anggota forum orang tua di PT. Pendidik Muda Indonesia terdiri dari sepuluh anggota yang memiliki anak usia dini. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil uji kelayakan serta keterbacaan materi dan desain. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari analisis pertanyaan deskriptif angket kebutuhan orang tua terhadap pembelajaran Al-Qur’an untuk anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini diperoleh 1) buku panduan untuk orang tua dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an untuk anak usia dini berbasis hands on learning, 2) kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil penelitian serta penilaian validator dalam kategori sangat layak.
Assistance in learning activities based on group mentoring carried out at SDN 02 Wonokerso, is a solution to deal with problems that were found related to the learning process. The target of this program is fifth-grade students, wherefrom the observations, it was found that the students did not yet have a solid foundation of subject matter, had a high interest in learning, but were not compatible with conventional learning methods so that most of the information given is not understood by the students. The purpose of this group mentoring program is so that each group can participate in learning activities according to their rhythm and the question-and-answer activities can take place more optimally so that students' understanding will increase. Abstrak: Pendampingan kegiatan belajar berbasis mentoring kelompok yang dilaksanakan di SDN 02 Wonokerso, merupakan sebuah solusi untuk menangani permasalahan yang ditemukan terkait proses pembelajaran. Sasaran dari program ini adalah para murid kelas V, yang mana dari hasil observasi ditemukan bahwa, para murid belum memiliki dasar yang kuat dari materi-materi pelajaran, memiliki minat belajar yang tinggi, namun kurang cocok dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional, sehingga sebagian besar informasi yang diberikan kurang dapat dipahami oleh para murid. Tujuan dari program pendampingan berbasis mentoring kelompok ini adalah agar setiap kelompok dapat mengikuti kegiatan belajar sesuai dengan ritme masing-masing dan kegiatan tanya jawab dapat berlangsung lebih maksimal, sehingga pemahaman para murid semakin meningkat.
Cows are one of the farm animals that are very popular with farmers. In the villages many people have cattle in their homes. Likewise with the Wono Asri 3 Farmer Group which also has several members who choose to become cattle breeders. Raising cattle is indeed very profitable, but farmers need to have skills and understanding in order to get these benefits. One of the things that needs to be considered in raising cows is feed. Cattle farmers have various types, including some who like to give forage feed (such as grass, weeds, and corn weevils) only, and some like to mix it with concentrate feed. Forage feed is relatively cheaper, but it requires more effort in providing it, while concentrate feed is easier to provide but the price is more expensive. This then affects the farmer's expenditure on feed preparations. Therefore, there is a need for new innovations so that farmers can provide feed at a lower price, but it is easy to provide and of course the quality of the products produced. The activities offered from this PkM are mentoring, and training on processing Corn Weevil and elephant grass (pennisetum purpureum) for members of the Wono Asri 3 Farmer Group. This activity aims to equip the knowledge and skills of processing Corn Weevil and elephant grass into quality animal feed. This activity will be carried out using various appropriate implementation methods such as deliberation, brainstorming, interviews, demonstrations and practices. The planned stages of activities are coordination of teams and partners, identification of target group learning needs including farm conditions and corn weevil processing equipment needed, planning activities involving target groups, training, and mentoring.
