The results of an experimental investigation of the free induction of E‐centres in crystalline quartz are presented. The EPR technique based on the pulsed change of the polarizing magnetic field is used. The magnetic system being coherently excited is controlled by the transient oscillations of the absorption signal. It is shown that the transient oscillation and free induction features cannot be described by the Bloch model.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
