In the paper, a model of a three-phase frequency-controlled induction electric drive has been developed in Simulink Matlab 2019 (MathWorks, Natick, MA, USA). This model is mathematically converted into a two-phase model by transforming equations. It is proposed to compensate the voltage drop in the power system during start-up operation under load by using supercapacitors as a buffer power source. A block of supercapacitors was calculated. Simulation modeling was performed at a different voltage than the network. The diagrams of the transient processes occurring in the electric drive when the power supply is changed were prepared. It was found that such a principle of implementing an additional source of electric energy allows to start induction electric drives in areas remote from industrial networks without significantly affecting their static and dynamic characteristics.
The authors develop standards and design of pre-emergency, emergency and post-emergency control of mine technological environment and electric machinery activity. The electric machinery operation parameters to be controlled are energy supply of explosion-proof electric machinery, cable integrity and improper access to the machinery; the control objects are switchers and starters within an extraction district. The technological environment parameters to be controlled are gas content, including CH 4 , CO, CO 2 and O 2 , variation in mine air pressure, light, sound, temperature, acceleration or dislocation of central control unit housing. The article presents engineering solutions on subsystems of data reading, processing and storage. CONCLUSIONS 1. The authors have developed the basic standards and characteristics of PECS meant to accomplish continuous integrated control over state of electric equipment and air in coal mines and prevent from the equipment operation infringement that, together with impermissible methane concentration, is the cause of explosions in mines.2. In cases of emergency, the systems run the objective documentary control and record of the mine area parameters in the accident and post-accident mode.3. The authors present engineering design of the data processing, storage and retrieval. 4. The designed and manufactured brassboards of the PECS subsystems have successively passed probation. Engineering design of the remote wireless data transmission, low-voltage network communication and program support of the data acquisition and transmission subsystem have been developed.
A distributed system of protection and diagnostics of support structural elements of high-voltage power lines (HVPL) on 500 kV voltage was developed at Karaganda State technical university: -current monitoring of leakage currents of bunches of suspension insulators; -detection ice-rime depositions; -cathode protection of underground elements of support constructions; -information transfer from the sensors placed on supports on the control office on telemetric channels; -creation of the passport of each support on SCADA -system basis. The system contains set of local subsystems of protection, measurement, processing and information transfer on support, communication links and a subsystem processing and information storage on the control offices. Power supply of local subsystems is provided by the directed energy of electromagnetic fields. Detection of ice-rime deposits is carried out by the indirect methods based on the current monitoring of the support response of wind and ice loads and also temperatures and air humidity. Sensors information allows to control integral values of a leakage current of industrial frequency and surface currents of the partial discharges proceeding through strings of insulators and also to define the time-point optimum for drop-out ice-rime deposits. Radio modem and cellular communication with an automatic choice of the communication channels in the conditions of the powerful electromagnetic fields have a significant effect on an opportunity and transmission quality of information are used for transmission the telemetric information to the control office. Tests with the positive results of the experimental samples of all components of system are carried out on the operating line and in laboratories. The developed system is a basis for methods creation and technical solutions on lowering the losses of the electric power in case of its transportation on 110 and 220 kV HVPL.
