Провести аналіз постійно діючого негативного впливу від трансформації річкових гідроекосистем на рибне населення Азово-Чорноморського басейну. Методика. Матеріали щодо абіотичних параметрів річкових гідроекосистем отримані за даними відомостей обласних гідрометеорологічних станцій та власних спостережень. Промислова ситуація проаналізована за офіційними зведеннями Держрибагенства України. Результати. Дослідження показали, що стихійні коливання рівня води, які зумовлені обсягами добових попусків через гідроспоруди, у переважній більшості випадків миттєво змінюють рівень води на нерестовищах. В результаті змінюється режим аерації, запліднена ікра зазнає періодичного осушення або затоплення, що призводить до її масової загибелі на різних стадіях та етапах ембріогенезу. Сучасна екологічна ситуація трансформованих гідроекосистем демонструє поєднання негативного впливу астатичності гідрологічного режиму в часі і просторі та погіршення хімічного складу води. Спостерігається стала тенденція насичення води компонентами, які не є природними, що зумовлює проблематичність ефективного природного відтворення і ставить під певний сумнів можливість стабільного стану промислових стад цінних видів риб. На фоні відмічених змін, більша частина акваторій, що розглядаються, практично втратили своє основне призначення-забезпечення ефективного відтворення. Як наслідок, у водоймах сформувалися маловрожайні покоління цінних видів риб, що знайшло втілення у погіршанні якісних складових компонентів промислу. Зберігається стала тенденція достатньо стрімкої зміни співвідношення цінних та малоцінних видів риб на користь малоцінних. Наукова новизна. Проведено системне узагальнення впливу гідробудівництва на стан рибного господарства природних водойм України на прикладі Дніпра. Практична значимість. Результати роботи можуть бути використані при розробленні шляхів раціонального використання гідробіоресурсів річкових систем України в умовах трансформованого стоку.
